Dillian Whyte on Dubois: 'Man’s out here quitting in mid-fight'

A fair assessment and it was nice to hear Dave talk instead of his recent past slurring.

 

I can think of a few other four letter words to describe Whyte.

 

Man, Whyte is such a ****.
How anyone likes him as a person is beyond me.

****ing miss Aydamn tho.

Aydamn was a nice guy though and a proper enthusiast

At this point though, I think Whyte is trying to convince himself that he is still a bad man.

 

What current fighters haven't been stopped or quit at Heavy?

 

Looks like a broken orbital bone. News report said this was discovered at the hospital . And he was fighting through it until that last jab. Dubois said that last jab must have hit a nerve sharply and the pain was too much. I am ok with that. Saying he just flat out quit is wrong. That's like saying when a boxer gets hit to the liver and goes down , is in pain but doesn't get up; is quitting . He 's not unconscious so why cant he keep fighting ? Because these people are being punched , and punched HARD.

 

Whyte does a lot of tarkin, especially for someone who was ktfo cold by a 40 year old. Thought he'd be a bit more humble now. Clearly not.

 

Most of those fights took place decades ago and I won't criticize the fighters of the past. However times change.

Maybe, just maybe Dubois didn't want to have one of his eyes permanently injured. He may still have suffered some retinal damage, which might possibly end his boxing career. I don't know but maybe DD didn't want to lose his career and have one impaired eye (now there's no good backup if something happens to the other eye). So there were physical and financial risks if he "sucked it up".

I don't know your financial situation and I'm not asking - but how much $ would you want for the loss of just one of your eyes !

DW is entertaining in those The Gloves Are Off (whatever it's called) usually w/Johnny Nelson.

 

Whyte has never had the opportunity to show heart like that. Is usually on total ***** street before he gets busted up properly because of his meh chin.

 

I think whyte is dangerous when hes hurt and tired and that may seem like has heart, he gets hurt and tired quite often a bit of smoke and mirrors but he does fight through to be honest, his wild man sloppy technique makes him unpredictable.
