Which is why the questions remain. One might assert that a likely reason he quit was to spare his fragile mandible from exposure.

Too much muscular and robotic like Clubber. Besides similar position of the gloves when he advanced. Same way to soak up Joyce's jabs with the head.

His chin wasn’t tested, he only ate stiff jabs which are not KO shots. He failed the heart test though.

Fellow Forum dwellers. Remember when DD was considered one of the top up & coming HWs (like before a few days ago)?? :D

Many here had him in their top 2-3. Now everybody is acting like he's a heartless bum. Many boxing fans are just bipolar :aplastao:

Boxing fans are ridiculously critical. Easily the worst sports fans. A fighter can do everything the fans want exactly how they want but the they will find things to pick at and everyone will be jumping on it

I don't think his chin is bad. Of course, he got KO'd by a jab. But it was more that his eye was badly injured than that he he was dazed. Biggest problem Dubois had was Joyce's jab. Dubois did well when he came forward throwing punches. It's just that in between, he ate jab after jab after jab.

The questions remain. What happens when Dubois gets in the ring again? Could that mandible get shattered into a million pieces?

Think his chin is probs ok but his ability to move his head or have a plan B seems to be lacking..

Lets be honest he got beaten up and stopped by a guy who threw nothing but jabs...
