They put Fury no. 2 for that robbery against wilder before Schwarz and Wallin but yeah go ahead and conveniently forget that for the sake of argument.

So Wilder still hasnt beaten anyone notable with the excpetion of Ortiz amd thats at a push (AJ has beaten 5 opponents more impressive and soon to be a sixth if he beats Pulev).

Even admitted avoiding AJ and picking Fury as he saw him soft touch/cherry pick that disnt deserve the shot looking poor his first two comeback fights.

Correct. The highest rated Ring fighter Vitali Klitschko defended against was Tomasz Adamek (a former light heavyweight and cruiserweight) who Eric Molina would knock out in Poland.

Where was Fury rated in February this year when Wilder defended against him? Higher than both Wilder and Joshua. (LOL) That's why it was for the RING belt, too.

Enough already. At this point, you are just picking at strings here and there.

His title defenses were fine. His best challenger (who he defended against twice) is the top fighter in the sport today. His worst challenger was also Joshua's worst challenger.

Still waiting for the champ with the "shockingly" better 10 defense reign against all #1 guys.

On Wilder he never beat a top ten ranked heavyweight under the age of 36. My issue with him is his selection of title opponents. It was shockingly bad, outside of Fury. Fury's selection of title opponents as a lineal champion are just as bad, perhaps even worse, outside of Wilder.

Anyone see the problem here? -Mendoza

Wow, for openers Povektin is a real top ten fighter for years, far better than Stiverne. No issues there, I hope. Wilder used that drug test to fight a much older Ortiz, who also had two positives. IMO, Wilder would have lost to Povetkin. Smart move by his management

Yeah its a problem, but at least Joshua fought and beat one

Whyte or Martin could have been rated when Joshua neat them, I'd have to check.

Now your getting it, these current champions are belt milking, however Wilder is more guilty than Joshua.

Now that is bull crap, and you know it. Wlad and Vitlai beat several top ten rated menin their primes. How can you say?! 1 ) it's not true. 2 ) it's not even close.

That is Wilder only top opponent and he didn't win either match! The judges were crap, Fury easy won on points in the first fight, it was called a " Draw ". In the re-match it was a epic mis-match, and Wilder was beaten down. Fury better hope Wilder doesn't fight again, he's done and his lone win over someone decent in his primes rest with Wilder who has not fought since being exposed.

If it makes you feel better Wilder beat Grandpa Ortiz, who was well over 40 years old and Stiverne at age 36 who wasn't any good to begin with. Until then he beat no ranked contender in his prime and his career for all we know could be over.

Rings questionable judgements. This ring who openly admit that their rankings are aloa influnces by media hype and reputation rather than soley what happens in the ring.

AJ was their number for years and got beat for Ruiz, so surley he should be number 1? Then AJ number 1 again when avanege his loss.

Nope they made Fury top number 2 on back of a draw of their ranked number 2 (which should have been a win) and beating two guys outside the top 40 and made it for a title shot on the back of beating people.

The vast majority of people on this forum agree that there is about half a dozen guys in the the divison if not more tha t have more impressive resumes than

I am not a Fury fan boy and I dont agree with his ranking when he came back after his time out the ring by the way either.

However, his career prior to the Wilder fights and after has proven that he was top 10 at those points. None of Wilders roll overs have ever done anything than get a high ranking, and then disappear without a trace after being tonked by him.

"Robbery against Wilder" I would lay the crack pipe down. You will end up homeless and a beggar if you dont kick the habit mate. I understand the TV show Intervention will help you to understand what happens to people who think crack is a fun passtime.

I think the vast majority of people on this forum had Wilder losing every poll to everyone in history, including Butterbean and most recently the 55-year-old Tyson.

Again, just admit you won't give him credit for anything.

He defended his title against the #1 rated Fury THIS YEAR, and you say the Ring ratings were bad.

If he fights Fury, the World champ, a third time, you won't give him credit because Fury was a cokehead five years ago.

If he fights Joshua, you won't give him credit because Joshua already lost to Ruiz.

If Pulev upsets Joshua and Wilder fights Pulev, you won't give Wilder credit because Pulev is old.

If he fights Usyk, Usyk is a blown up cruiserweight. If he fights Joe Joyce, Joyce is old. If he fights Parker, Parker already lost to Joshua and Whyte. If he fights Whyte, Whyte already got knocked out by Povetkin and Joshua. If he fights Povetkin, he's too old.

Admit it. He can do nothing that will change your mind.

Just admit you are so biased he can never fight anyone who you won't bash.

You are the one who keeps harping on 36 years old and Ring Top 10.

Don't get pissy with me. You set the criteria.

If you used YOUR criteria against Joshua, Joshua has defended against one challenger who was both under 36 and in the Ring top 10. (Parker)

WOW. Roll out the red carpet.

Wilder, on other hand, made two defenses of his title against a Ring Top 10 opponent under 36 .. in Tyson Fury ... the #1 fighter in the whole goddamn sport.

Who in the sport of boxing can you fight this year who is better than Tyson Fury? No one.

And Wilder defended his title against him for the SECOND time this year.

    Zero credit for that.

Exactly he only faced Fury the first time because he was seen as an easy touch due to having to come through fat camp and inactivity to face him.

    And still lost.

Ducked Wlad in the first place as a big fight, because he was knocked out twice in sparring and sent home early because he was so awful.

Deontay Wilder should of been a star. He talks good. He's a knockout artist. His promotional team suck. Now as a boxer, he's very flawed, who's power has bailed him out a few times, and power alone can only take you so far. In the end you'll face someone that not only can take the shots, but also fire back.

We're up to "knocked out twice" now. (LOL)

That story was debunked by Wlad's trainer, Jonathan Banks. Wilder was never knocked out. Not Once. Not twice.

But, like everything else, the lie is more fun.

If you have to trot out fake sparring stories from 2012 to bash Wilder as we head into 2021, I think this thread has petered out.

Wilder looks pretty good here for a guy who just got knocked out twice. Not exactly scorching sparring sessions.
