I've just done an interview with Nate Campbell. We talked about: FULL VIDEO: This content is protected NATE REVEALS WHY HE DROPPED HIS HANDS VS ROBBIE PEDEN: This content is protected 1) His thoughts about Roy Jones Jr vs Mike Tyson. 2) We talked about that idiot Jake Paul's fight. 3) We talked about his life growing up and how he started boxing plus his amateur career. 4) How his pro career got started and that loss to Robbie Peden where he dropped his hands and got KO'd as well as his fight vs. Casamayor. 5) Moving to Lightweight to dethrone Juan Diaz. 6) Fighting Tim Bradley and Danny Garcia. He had very little training and only lost by SD a lot of people thought he won. 7) His thoughts about lockdown and which fights he wishes he had made in his career.
For some reason I thought you meant you spoke to Nate Robinson LOL.. I was like why would he be talking about going down to lightweight to fight Juan Diaz when he just got knocked out against Jake Paul LOL..
Haha we did briefly talk about that fight at the start but no this was a real interview with a real fighter. Very underrated if you ask me.
I feel a little different in regards to youtubers boxing. I mean i'm not a fan of Jake Paul, I think he's an idiot, but he has improved. His footwork has greatly improved, which is the fundamental basics. Once you get the footwork, everything else normally comes into place. You'll be surprised how many boxers box for years and still lack the fundamental basics of footwork placement. Now Another thing is this. Anything that causes attraction to boxing is kind of good. Jake Paul might not be a top boxer, but there could be some 10 year old kid who starts boxing because of watching the likes of Jake Paul and then go on to become the greatest boxer to ever life. You just never know. It's like Rocky Balboe. Rocky in the sense of boxing was a joke. How many times can someone get knocked down without the ref stopping the fight? Yet Rocky was still good for boxing, as it encouraged a new generation of " real " boxers.
In regards to the interview, it was very good. I think the connection delay made it hard at times. One advice I would give is to ask a question, and then the let the person just talk. I think it'll take some experience to know when to talk to add to the interview, as you want the person to express themselves, and it's hard to do that when the person is talking over you. Very good though. keep it up.

I'm a fan of boxing, so Nate has always been good in my eyes. I have a lot of respect for the guy. It was interesting to hear about his personal upbringing with his dad dying of AIDS and certain members of his family abusing him. It was sad to hear, but these are the events in his life that made him the man that he was later to be.
