I totally get what you're saying. I wasn't planning on ordering it but hours before the fight I was getting that anticipation you get when there's a big fight. I just had to pull the trigger on it. Its Mike Tyson. My second favorite boxer of all time. I enjoyed the whole card. Also like you said, neither guy embarrassed themselves and got hurt. All in all it was a success.
It was a great event and for 50 bucks not a bad way to spend a Saturday night.. the only people who have a problem with it are the weirdos on here that act like they have some personal issue with Tyson.
I was feeling charitable & I can’t think of 2 current & deserving OGs who have done more for the sport.
Mike Tyson is more ppv worthy than most fights that are on ppv. I just hope he doesn't take on proper contenders and get seriously hurt. He should stick to fighting legends of the ring that are looking for a payday.
I'm fine with Tyson doing it. There are health risks, but Tyson looks fit and he probably dreams of being back in the ring everyday -- let him have his fun. And it's just an exhibition anyway. If Tyson wants to do more of these, he has my (worthless) blessing. As for my review of the fight, I would say I was very impressed by Tyson's fitness, but honestly, and I'm sorry to say this: I just found the match surprisingly boring. I did see it as just a light sparring match.
