OK, it's Holyfield from his first bout with Alex Stewart. A fight that had the Real Deal take some hard shots.
Other corner, Sonny Liston from his first tussle with Cleveland Williams. A good little scrap.
Who wins this, scheduled for 12?

Liston was far more impressive, Sonny would have ko`d Stewart in 1 just like Tyson did, Holy was wide open and sluggish in that bout, he was sharper in the second bout and weighed much more, he looked much stronger, Liston would have used his jab well.

Liston is a terrible matchup for Holy but great for the fans. Slug out war for half the fight before Holy falls

I thought Holyfield looked better in the first Stewart fight.
He was 212 pounds in both Stewart fights.

I can see Holyfield starting out sharp shooting with his Jab but only a matter of time, maybe minutes, before he s steaming in trying to ko sonny.
Mistake imo there and then. Liston would be brutal and hammer Holyfield.

He did look better in the first fight, he got tagged a bit but that was his style. Think his second fight was more controlled and perhaps a little more safety first.

Holyfield was eating a lot of straight punches that night, I think Liston wins this with the jab

The commentator stated Holy was the heaviest of his career v Stewart in the rematch at 217lbs. Holy was caught too much in the first fight, he looked slow.

Holyfield beats him...most likely scenario he stops Liston...but if not he still wins it on the cards.

Holyfield was pretty incredible in that fight. He held Stewart up, as was his wont.. The anti-Tyson
