Come on with this already. The fight last week was a sparring match between two skilled but very old men. Tyson is not a threat to Tyson Fury, Joshua or Uysk.

The question is not "who is McBride" but what enables 54 year old Tyson to beat McBride 15 and a half years later, when he couldn't do it when he was 38 years old?

You're going to need to go into a bit more depth than "he was burnt out". If that could ever be considered as a plausible argument, it would only be so if the rematch were 15 months later, not 15 years later.

As I already indicated, Tyson now is in better shape and his more desire than against Mc Bride. In that fight, Mike really did quit and did not have the desire anymore. He dominated the beginning but then he did not have the desire for a long fight as he could not get Mc Bride out of there early. My other point is that Mc Bride was a C level opponent, not very quick and was thought to be tailor made for Mike. On that basis, I feel Tyson of now would do better. But I am not necessarely saying he would win that fight jst that he would probably do better .Of course, this is only my opinion and I could be wrong.

"he has more desire now" ..... yeah, but desire for what ? Desire to have fun working out and make some money in a harmless exhibition with a friend.
That doesn't translate or equate to the desire which he was lacking at the end of his boxing career.
    Comparing apples and oranges.

He's in desire to get in shape not to do a serious professional fighting he even said he would never do a legit boxing match again.

No, it's not, I'd favor this version of Tyson. He might be older, but he weighs less which makes him more flexible and increases his endurance, and he is properly trained / prepared.

A vote for present day Tyson is basically raising your hand and admitting you've never participated or even been around competitive athletics

I enjoyed the exhibition, but I knew this is exactly what it was, a glorified sparring match between two old legends looking to get a pay day and share a spotlight. They didn't go out there to knock each other's heads off. I'm an unashamed Tyson fan, but a 54 year old Tyson is not competing against legit active competition, as much as I'd love to see that work out. He'd be better off enjoying his rebound in life and perhaps having another exhibition sparring bout with Evander.

Tyson could have still ko'd Jones if he wanted.

However, i still think the unmotivated Tyson who fought Williams had greater speed and power than the current motivated version. I would pick younger Tyson by an early TKO.

Tyson looked great.....for a 54 yr old pothead in a glorified hugfest. There seems to be a few on this thread that should quit the ganja though.
