Just when you think the boxing establishment and the alphabets couldn't make more of a joke of themselves...here we go. Incredibly stupid name, stupendously awful lineup in the rankings, an utterly absurd concept all together. When Oscar Rivas is by far the most credible name in the entire division, you might as well blow things up before you get going. Where's Sir Alec Guinness when you need him?
If the other orgs follow suit and make a new division, do they have to name it the same or what? Seriously who controls this ****? What if they made different weight limits, name etc etc?
I know that there's instances where the different sanctioning bodies use different names (Junior Middleweight/Super Welterweight being an example) for the same weight class, so if the others did unfortunately follow suit to create a belt in the division, they could at least have the sense to call it Super Cruiserweight.
Oscar Rivas, coming off a loss, is the most credible, and he has only fought at that weight once in a ten year career. ****ing joke.
