You never know , if looked after properly then anything can happen. Look how far Connor Benn has come. matthew Hatton overachieved also
Yeah spot on, he will be a ticket seller, hopefully we open up again and crowds are back and then Hearn will have him fighting in Manchester regularly and hoping to snatch some of those old faithful Hatton fans.
Hope he does well and good luck to him, dont think he'll get anywhere near his dads level and there'll be a lot of hype and attention because of his name, thats not his fault though and no shame if he doesnt get anywhere near the level of his arl fella. As others have said have seen him bowling over other young novices, but not doing as well when stepped up.
no, i'm just of the opinion if you want to slag someone off you should do it with a tiny bit of intelligence.
Its funny isn’t it ? His son has signed with Matchroom though it was Hearn who convinced Sky to bin Hatton Promotions that ultimately led to Hatton fighting Senchenko ,in part so that his fighters, Quigg, Martin Murray etc could get a payday. Hatton went to Sky hoping they’d show the fight but they said no cause of their exclusive contract with Matchroom and he had to go to crappy old Prime Time ( remember them )and a fraction of his expected purse. Ricky was also part of that cartel with Warren, McGuigan and Maloney that were going to take on Hearn on Boxnation. Forgive and forget I suppose.
Wow I forgot about Maloney, mcguigan and Hatton been the alliance against Eddie &Sky. Frank used there talent to launch his platform then for different reasons they all went their separate ways.
He's only young they will have to bring him along slowly , nowhere near the talent his old man had even though his style is frighteningly similar . There is a video on youtube of him getting totally outclassed in one of his most recent amateur fights . Good luck to him
This content is protected Yeh mate this one wasnt that long ago and still seems quite raw and novice like. Wish him all the best seems a nice lad but will have to go very slow with him and not sure were he gets too far
