Some people could really benefit from 30 seconds on boxrec before posting on here... Let alone, well, actually watching some boxing matches.

I think a lot of it is band waggon jumping etc. or people who are new to the sport using boxrec as a basis for there judgement.

Of course if you look at tyrrel biggs pro record it dosen't look that great, but of course when you add in his ameture peddigree. You can see he was a boxer of good schooling etc. plus his losses were against top pro's like mike tyson, lewis, bowe and gary mason etc.

To write him off as bum is stupid as when he fought tyson he was only his 16th fight and he was 15-0

question is did tyson ruin biggs ?

Like I said them dudes Lennox fought were bums... Lennox has weak chin and can't handle fighters that "pressure" him. And Foreman would have cut the ring off on dude and it would have been over. Lennox doesn't have the "balls" to hang with Foreman.

I've seen the fight he had against Mercer (which Mercer should have won)!
I've seen the against Vitali when Lennox looked like crap... ok he showed a little heart in that fight but then he backed down when Vitali wanted a rematch. Lennox ran and retired instead of giving dude a rematch and whooping him like he should have.

Oh yeah and I've seen the Lennox vs Tua fight too... and Lennox was scared of dude man. I can't believe he was running away from little Tua like he was, that's why the crowd booed so much during the fight. Lennox was scared to committ to a right hand. So if he ran from Tua I know he would ran from George Foreman. He was scared of Tua's power and he would have been scared of George's power too!

If Lewis can get past 5, he'll outlast him:D

What does Tina have to do with it? Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken? Don't mean to break your heart about Lennox but I will say he was a very intellegent fighter but he doesn't have what it takes to beat a "prime" Foreman and that would be chin/heart/guts!

Foreman was a beast in his best days, but he would have trouble hitting Lennox and would get hit flush by the longer Lewis all night long.

Lennox style would be just wrong for Foreman. Lennox TKOs Foreman around rd 8.

Going by that logic then shouldn't there have been a Lyle- Foreman II ?

And in Lewis' defense, he was 37 at the time, hardly the age where rematches against very tough opponents is the norm.

When you put it like that, the pick seems obvious, doesn't it?

As an American who thinks Lennox gets way too little respect I still have to say that a victory over a prime foreman is not a foregone conclusion. The guy freakin' laid out Michael Moore in his mid-40s when he was fat! Foreman was as tough as they come has indeed always had a great chin. In his prime he was a hailstorm that has to at least be considered more of a threat than Shannon Briggs. Plus I don't buy the argument that Lennox would've blown away an atg like frazier the way George did. It took him 8 rds to ko a shot mike tyson who was practically a sitting. I do rate Lennox a top 10 heavy, but also rate big George in the same category and no fighter just walks over him.

If guys like McCall and Rahman could take Lewis out early, a prime George Foreman destroys him. Big George cracks that shaky chin, and it's over early - very early. :nod

Lewis had speed but Foreman had more power plus a good chin so i`d say Foreman would`ve beaten him.

Young George by K.O in 2.
    Similar to Forman/Norton.
    Lennox doesnt have the chin.

I'm glad to see Lewis getting his due's now after he's retired. A couple of years ago, almost everyone made the moronic posts like Ikketurner "Lewis only fought bums, he was knocked out, Foreman was too big and strong, blablabla"
