Joshua got the win as I expected against a 39 year old Pulev. It went longer and harder than I thought. Looking at Joshua's general demeanor tonight I think he's mentally scarred though....from the Ruiz fight.
The younger bigger man beat the older smaller man this evening but didn't look confident within his self doing so. Joshua look almost scared and desperate in there tonight IMHO even though he knew he was winning pretty much every round and even with the KD's
If they "ever" fight I think Fury destroys him in the build to their fight mentally and has a very easy night on fight night to the extent that Joshua gasses and panics and loses a very demeaning loss via KO or TKO. As far as I'm concerned I'm convinced he's finished now at elite level.

It always amazes me that this narrative exists is the Fury is this great puncher. From Klitschko onwards, who has Fury knocked out that would even be ranked in the world top 20 other than Wilder.

Fury's beating Wilder was great, however, the manner of that beating raises more questions about Wilder's level than anything else.

I honestly question people who regard Fury as this "greatest heavyweight ever" as to whether they have watched boxing prior to Fury/Wilder 2.

Joshua has by far the best resume. Anyone who can't see that has an agenda

This was a poor fight. I had it on while drywalling the basement and was disappointed with bakole

Tony Dosh PPV has never defeated a non pudding or a long reigning world champion under 40 years of age.

Just compare the names fella. I'm a fan of fury but check the names on the last 5 to 10 fights. Some real turds on that list

None of the wins Joshua has are better than Fury battering Wilder or beating Klitschko for the first time in 11 years ripping the belts away from him and he is still unbeaten.

It’s only really Klitschko, Povetkin and Parker who are outstanding names on Joshua’s resume.

Klitschko was already totally outclassed by Fury before Joshua got to him.

Povetkin was very old albeit a decent win.

Parker was a good win at the time but Parker also arguably lost to Hughie Fury and since then Parker was beaten by Whyte in a close fight. The fight was also boring as hell and Joshua barely dented Parker.

Whyte cannot be classed as a top win for Joshua because Joshua got him when he was not only injured and in very poor shape but before the massive improvements under Tibbs.

I class Ruiz as a decent win but there’s a lot of hindsight involved. Just go back and read the threads here when that fight was announced. This forum was almost unanimous in dismissing Ruiz as a credible opponent. Also, Parker beat Ruiz in a very close fight before Joshua got to him.

The rest are unspectacular wins. Takam was KO’d by Chisora who beat him more handily than Whyte. The same applies to Brezeale who was more handily beaten by Wilder. No one else warrants mention.

I like AJ and class him as the number 2 behind Fury but his resume really isn’t anything special. Don’t fall for Hearn’s spin. No heavyweight right now really has a resume full of great wins. They have a few outstanding names and the rest is just spin.

There is zero outstanding about Pedvetkin or Paint Dry Parker and Old Man Clit was 41 years old and inactive for 18 months.

His CV stinks of total shyte compared to a real great such as Lennox Lewis or even Tyson Fury who had the balls to face long reigning world champions away THREE times and is still undefeated.

Think AJ having 3 belts and filling out stadiums while collecting sacks of PPV loot by the lorryload with a 24/7 news channel cheering him on with Eddie in the background cloud some people's judgement of how good he actually is, yes some good wins but nothing even close to Fury's destruction of Wilder and the Wlad win in Germany.
Based on what I've seen from AJ since the Wlad win an Usyk fight would be close to 50/50 and he'd be an underdog against Fury.

I'd have AJ as an underdog against Usyk, I think Usyk takes him into the last 3 rounds with AJ clearly needing knockdowns or a KO to win and when the desperation that comes with the realisation kicks in it plays perfectly into Usyks hands. I could be very wrong but that's how I see it.

I disagree about Usyk, i think AJ knocks him out. I would make fury the favorite against him and i would still pick Wilder to KO him but you would get a different result each time imo.

Has to be Usyk at the very least.
