this is a very good argument. Fury has proved that he can take wilder's best shot. So probably he can **** on all over AJ's arsenal.
Just because he can take some right hands from Wilder doesn't mean he can take everything AJ throws. It doesn't work that way.
Before tonight, I though AJ had the tools to make it competitive. He had power in both hands and was aggressive. Tonight I saw an AJ that was broken. Seems he still has the Ruiz loss in the back of his mind. He was timid tonight. Even when he attacked it was with one foot out the door. This was against an old man with limited skill, that clearly couldn't pull the trigger. Fury walks through this version of AJ. I think AJ needs a few confidence booster fights before taking on Fury.
Judging by Joshuas post fight interview doesn’t look like it’s happening anytime soon, Joshua didn’t duck wilder but I think it looks like he might avoid fury
Fury is a solid favorite, but I have to remind some of you that just two fights back, a lot of people where writing off the Gypsy King as shot, punchy, and beyond recovery from drug-problems, massive weight-loss, and a nasty, scarring cut. Fury and Joshua are two thoroughbreds, and they are going to show up in the best shape of their lives with solid gameplans. I expect Fury to walk out the champ, but anything can happen and nothing will surprise me.
of course it works that way. I can take your shots, I can take the shots of everyone hitting softer than you. And no way AJ hits harder than joshua.
No, it doesn't. History says otherwise. I've seen fights were a hard puncher can't get rid of some guy and is landing and then another fighter, widely considered a softer puncher, KOs him. It's not even that rare. And this isn't even the same case. Wilder barely laid a glove on Fury because his technique is dog****, AJ's isn't.
Fury wrecks him. Maybe the easiest fight for Fury in the division right now. A stiff robotic bodybuilder.
I wouldnt call those easyish fights for him, in fact I'd bet he doesnt get past both of them. JJ especially with his chin, size and cardio is a tough match up for him
