Im not saying that he mauls people. He does not. Im saying that mauling would be enough. The size difference is too big. What I say is that he only has to maul to win. If he does more, he wins faster. The chisora fight, imho, proved that usyk cannot be competitive with the big fishesh in the HW division.

Maybe I am wrong. We are not talking about CW, right? are we?

Canelo is the example of a guy that stepped up to 175 for one fight but doesn't really belong as a 175 pounder. He's just using his name to pick matchups in 168 or 175 he can win. You might even be able to argue that at 160 as their are fighters that can challenge him down there.

Uysk was more dominate at 200 than what Canelo is at 160. He decided to make a permanent move up to Heavyweight to finish out his career.

That’s actually the reason I see Joshua winning. As in Usyk knows he won’t get a decision so will go for the knockout and get caught himself. But I see your point of view, Usyk will have to got for the KO and take risks etc.

Here's what AJ had to say after sparring Chisora 11 months prior to Usyk vs Chisora when the later was supposedly ''shot'' after actually taking training seriously for the first time in his career, scoring some of the best wins of his career in Takam, Szpilka, and Price (and don't forget he was beating Whyte in their rematch until Whyte's tag-team partner the ref decided to lend his buddy a helping hand) and also having scored some of his most impressive KOs.

"If he does land? Look at Dereck's knockouts - they aren't when he lands five shots then the ref jumps in.

    "Boom! Artur Szpilka.

    "Boom! Carlos Takam.

"He hit them with one shot and knocked them out. You can see he carries one-shot knockout power."

    --- Anthony Joshua

Weird how the #2 HW in the world was that impressed by Chisora after sharing a ring with him just 11 months earlier, eh?

That's the same AJ who couldn't do this to Takam. In fact, he needed a premature stoppage courtesy of the ref right as Takam was coming on and he appeared to be slowing down

And when Usyk actually decided to sit down on his shots and open up with a combination he hurt Chisora pretty badly and he hit hard enough with big gloves on in the gym to hurt David Allen so badly his legs started dancing to two different genres of music at the same time and have him out on his feet. In fact, Allen actually thought he'd been knocked out. That's how badly hurt he was. Chisora and Allen have two of the best chins in the HW division and whilst AJ is a tall order for Usyk given the huge physical advantages he holds over him he doesn't and if Usyk catches him like he caught Chisora and Allen does anyone honestly think he can't hurt him too? lol

AJ looked like he was feeling the weight of the 2 or 3 right hands old Pulev caught him with tonight and Pulev only let his right hand go very sparingly and isn't a big puncher. Usyk hurt Chisora but I don't recall Pulev doing the same.

    Quality quality matchup.

I still maintain that AJ is too big and too good for Usyk.

But its a tier one level fight for the current division and one that needs to happen soon.

    AJ vs Fury
    AJ vs Usyk
    Fury vs Usyk

One of these fights has to be happening in 2021... and when it does, its boxings superbowl of the year, imo.

I couldn't believe how timorous Joshua was in the fourth when Pulev was there to be taken out. It's as if he's turned into Joseph Parker mentally.

Even if Usyk lasts the distance and drags Joshua deep, do you really see him getting a decision win on a Matchroom card against the golden goose? Because I don't.

Terry O'Connor and Ian John-Lewis already have 117-111 scorecards in favour of Joshua pencilled in. You know this to be true.

BTW, Usyk might be thinking about what he's gonna do next if Aj knocks out him. He might be going down to fight at the Bridgerweight Division which is the newest division of WBC (World Boxing Crap).

The problem isn't the size, it's the fact that the supposed advantages that usyk was bringing to the table are being eroded by age, injury and weight gain.
He still has his legs but for how much longer?

Evander holyfield had a granite chin, beautifully timed counter punches that had guys like foreman Tyson bowe and mercer on ***** Street and steroid strength that allowed him to push back much bigger guys. when his activity level dropped off due to age and muscle gain he adapted stylistically. Started to maul, headbutt and improved his defense inside.

Usyks resume shi... on wilders. Even chisora would be probably wilders toughest fight.
