Don't remember the last time I saw a heavyweight throw that many uppercuts in a fight since Mike Tyson.
It's easy to do against a human punching bag. Pulev didn't even try to defend. Maybe his strategy was to let AJ hit him non stop untill Joshua would run out of gas.
Well goddamn.... it was about ****ing time wasn't it? 4 knockdowns and a brutal KO for Wlad in 5. It took a gassing somewhat scared AJ 9 to equal that feat.
Pulev had no defence to them like he had no defence for Wlad's left hook when he fought him. Putting your arms up by the side of your head to defend against an uppercut is like dropping your hands to your waist to protect your chin. There was at least one moment in the fight and I think it might even been two where AJ unleased about four of them in a row on Pulev and whilst the commentators waxed lyrical about them most of them looked like they missed or barley grazed Pulev's chin. I might be wrong about that but that's what it looked like at the time.
Exactly what I literally just posted. When was the last time youve seen a heavyweight throw 7 quality uppercuts in a round like AJ did in the 9th. Punctuating it with an uppercut that began the end. Beautiful and underappreciated stuff from the champ.
Pulev was catching a lot of them by keeping his elbows tight, I think the ones that did go through did have an effect
Projecting I see. You're so autistic, you literally countered your own silly attempt to dunk me a mere few minutes later. Jackass.
Yeah, you are, I've been contemplating banning you for the last two weeks, because you're such an idiotic and shitty poster.
