Wouldn't mind seeing Wilder fight for the undisputed title. He's fun to watch & would be a real threat to Joshua. The problem is Joshua won't beat Fury & Fury beats Wilder all day long & twice on Sunday.
With his kind od whiplash power, I would not discount him. But at this point I certainly would not favour him either
Wilder can’t beat Joshua or Fury. Simply not good enough. Only has a punchers chance which has only worked against bin men. Him struggling with Molina and Spzilka will tell you all about him and how overrated he truly was.
Wilder has made some bad choices, from his dismissal of Mark Breland to hiring Malik Scott.... then there’s the excuses for his loss which were totally off the rails and has made him a laughing stock. He needs to reinvent himself publicly and get some wins in.
After AJ's performance against Pulev, I feel more confident he can win against Wilder. Wilder could definitely KO. But wilder has NOTHING close range. AJ has EVERYTHING close range. As soon as AJ launches an attack, Wilder could be done already.
Wilder's team / LDBC virgins have convinced him that he's never lost a legitimate fight. Probably believes AJ and Fury need to come to him, when in reality he needs to get out there a re-build his brand.
I don't see why either Fury or AJ would fight Wilder. Wilder has no title and little fanbase so brings little to the deal. He also is still a risk because he still does have power in that right hand (that's all he's got - he's the ultimate one trick pony). Ppus all the total nonsense and bs he's come out with lately. I don't see Wilder getting a title shot again unless the his WBC pals somehow force this.
We should be laughing at Wilder, for turning down crazy money thinking he could still get more after his cherry pick of out of shape Fury. Now he has no belt, no shot at redemption and no big money fights on the horizon. In short, it's over, hang em up til this dayyy!!
For that to even be a possibility he probably needs to win a fight, then hope AJ wins because it's a much more favorable matchup for him than Fury.
Exactly. Wilder spent years fighting stiffs, and carefully selected "name" opponents. To paraphrase my Australian friends, "When you fight stiffs, you become a stiff."
Absolutely not. He's flat out not good enough to beat the top guys. He's a baaad boxer. His missile might land on football hooligans, NFL players and washed up taco titties but anyone with a good boxing pedigree will kick his ass.
