Probably been asked and answered a thousand times before, but what exactly was the reason behind Peter & Tyson falling out?

Peter is obviously one of the best boxing minds out there at the minute, and always a good listen / watch, but every time he’s asked a question about Tyson the mood changes...

The truth is nobody really knows.

I personally find Peter Fury fascinating, his opinions on everything are usually spot on and you can listen to his every word. He’s honest too, whether that’s about his son, nephew or opposition fighters.

As a boxing trainer he’s brilliant and he’s certainly a big loss for the Tyson camp.

There were a lot of rumours, the one I heard most often was money but nothing has ever been concerned. I'd like them to see eye to eye again and even work together one day, though truthfully they are both doing absolutely fine without the other.

I do not think there is much in it on Tyson's side, he just wanted a fresh start complete change of management/scenery. Peter's methods are effective but old school and would be very patience testing over the long run. Obviously after everything Peter had done for him he felt betrayed but in hindsight it was the right thing to do, he has evolved as a fighter.

I thought it was because they went off and helped Haye with sparring in prep for the Bellew fight?

It’s definitely not that because Fury is now ok with Haye and they did an interview side-by-side on BT where they were jovial with each other. Also John Fury regularly features with Haye on BT boxing shows and Tyson has no issues with that.

Maybe that could have been the initial cause but surely now that Tyson is ok with Haye he would have buried it with Peter?

I think it runs deeper but as pointed out above, Tyson has become a better boxer anyway.

I think it's a combination of many things.

After the Wlad fight Tyson went into a downward spiral as we all know and Peter wouldn't even know if he was going to turn up to the press conference for the rematch for example. Clearly Tyson becoming out of control left Peter not knowing if he was coming or going.

Tyson wasn't happy with them meeting up with Haye. I know Tyson has buried the hatchet with Haye now but I know at the time he tweeted about it.

Then lastly they've always been very close and loyal to Mick Hennessey, with Peter still having him involved with Hughie to this day. When Tyson upped sticks and left, I don't think Peter was too happy.....

I know fury and haye are ok now. But I thought it was because they went behind tysons back or at least he didn’t know about the sparring until afterwards

he could still be pissed off with them about that I guess

From memory other things mentioned included some resentment about Tyson being close to Joseph Parker and also reference to Mick Hennessy and loyalty owed there also?

Never really saw one thing nailed down as the smoking gun. Sad either way when families fall out. Hopefully they bury the hatchet one day, they both did their part in that win over Wlad.

Big Mick is a bit of a loser tbh, you can't blame Tyson for moving on to better things. He's made multi-millions and is the no.1 out there.

Mick lost tens of thousands bringing Tyson through, he had shown unbelievable loyalty and faith in the whole Fury camp in order to get them/Tyson where he was.

Tyson beat Wlad and hit the big time. He obviously went off the boil, but rather than letting the promoter who got him there have a taste of the riches, he sold out and went to Frank.

Rumours are Mick lost a fortune bringing Tyson through, and even remortgaged his house apparently to get Hughie the Joseph Parker title shot.

I don’t think Mick could have taken Hughie much further, but I think the original loyalty shown you can’t buy. Think Peter recognises that hence he’s still part of the team.

There's definitely more to it than that. Tyson was very close with Peter and his side for several years, to the point that they were rarely seen without each other. You don't go from that to awkwardly answering, sidestepping or dancing around questions relating to the other side several years on if there's nothing in it and Tyson just fancied a change in training set up.

Something serious enough happened to cause this fall out. It appears to me that it has reached the point where Peter and Hughie, through somewhat gritted teeth, will partially offer comment when asked regarding Tyson, but not vice versa.

You are really not as privy as you think, so to make comments like that shows what kind of person you are.

Seems you have no loyalty none and don't appreciate the people who put everything in to help an individual get some where in
