In my mind, you can make a case for either. Fury has the best win with his dominance over Wlad.

But AJ has fought a greater amount of top level opponents for me.

P.S. I am a fan of BOTH fighters.

Not a fanboy. Povetkin is my favourite fighter. So I'm not biased. They're both worthy champions.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

    AJ best wins -

    Wlad
    Povetkin
    Parker
    Whyte
    Pulev
Ruiz JR (Because he didn't show up the 2nd time. If he'd been on form, I'd have put him higher).

    Fury best wins -

    Wlad
    Wilder
    Chisora
    Wallin
    Hammer

AJ has beaten more top 10 recognised fighters.

Fury has the two best wins (Klitchsko, Wilder).

One problem is that people don't rate Fury's wins over Johnson, Cunningham, Hammer and Chisora because these characters became gatekeepers/journeyman in old age. So now people pretend they weren't ranked opponents at the time etc.

At the time they were contenders, proven by the fact these were mainly eliminators. You can make an argument that Cunningham's wins over Huck and Wlodarczyk, though at cruiser, are better than any of Whyte or Parker's wins. We're not sure about Wallin yet, but he could prove to be a good win too. These are Fury's best wins and the records at the time of contest. Considering Fury missed a year with Haye pullouts, two years with AWOL and another year with virus/Wilder fight falling through, this is not too bad. And his top three wins are still better than any other active HW.

    Chisora 14 0 0
    Johnson 28 2 1
    Cunningham 25 5 0
    Chisora 20 4 0
    Hammer 17 3 0
    Wlad 64 3 0
    Wilder 40 0 0
    Wilder 42 0 1

It's still amazing to me that you guys rate Furys win over Klitschko as a great win. It is STILL the worst eyesore of a fight I have ever seen. AJ KOs Klitschko and that's somehow a bad thing? But Nandrolone Fury bores us to death in a stinker and hes great??? That will never make sens . Ever. Also, rating the Wallin win as a good one, when Wallin was rated 83rd at the time, is just inexcusable

Joshua ofc. And should i mention Fury run scared to death from Klitschko rematch. He also poped for banned substance. He pretty much throws his belt away, cause he doesn`t wanted to fight Klitschko again, and this happen 2 time. Joshua was ready for Klitschko rematch.
Yeah AJ lost, but he avenged that lost straight away. He learned from that and 100% improved.
Only haters don`t see the improvement in AJ`s game. It was obvious in the Pulev game. His footwork was so much better, his defence and overall his boxing skill was on another level.
I expect to improve even more till his next fight.
Joshua will beat Fury, mark my words !!! By beat i mean KO him brutally !!

You realise it's Tyson and not Hughie who will be facing Joshua? Btw Hughie probably lasts 12 vs Joshua as long as he doesn't bleed too much.

I think AJ has a better record, but judging by their last performances Fury beats him.

Povetkin, Ruiz and Parker were ranked #3 in the world by Ring when Joshua beat them. I don't know how Fury's draw where he was dropped twice, is more dominant than Joshua's KO where he was dropped once.

No Fury has one win over Joshua. The 41 year old Wlad AJ fought was still miles better than Wilder.
