You’re absolutely right , we do pay enough with Sky, BT, Premier etc, I know I do but I’m a sports fan, I love sport and I place a value on my enjoyment that I’m willing to pay, money that keeps the sports going. There’s plenty on here who voted tory so they should understand how capitalism works. If you have IPTV, use illegal streams and baulk at paying £2 because you can get it for free elsewhere, you really want the sport, all sports to die. It’s really embarrassing. Maybe you’re super skint and life’s hard and there’s nothing wrong with that but cut your cloth accordingly. Ultimately the subscribers are paying for your tv sport.

You have a point @rezzer , you’ve shamed me haha, I’ve just signed up. By the way, does this mean I can get up Sunday morning and just watch it at my own leisure? Hard work staying up these days.

Can't complain at the price but I can't stay up this late/early anymore and £1.99 to watch something that'll be floating around for free and I'll probably have spoiled by forgetting not to check social media as usual...I had the Joshua Ruiz 1 fight spoiled by a notification saying Ruiz winning press conference and thought it must just be a poorly typed headline

Already have BT, sky and Amazon. Maybe I will cave in but dazn would have to have mega fights like canelo Smith to tempt me to stay. Wouldn't do it for just the Campbell Garcia but then combined maybe I will give in if there's decent on demand?

I draw the line at 3 subscriptions even though I can afford more - I am not paying any more to the people that have raked in millions and millions of pounds whether it be Box Office, Amazon or DAZN.

The more we buy, the less opportunity people less well off can afford to watch live sport.

My excuse is that I don’t have Sky or BT although I do jump on my mates Sky Go app. I’ll buy him a few beers when the world is normal again. I’m skint so gotta do what I’ve gotta do.

At what point are you willing to draw the line ?
Sometimes a stand, albeit a minuscule one, needs to be made to stick it right up the broadcasters. The greed across most of the major organisations is reaching a breaking point- football fans made a stand, finally, with the refusal to buy football PPV’s; boxing fans would need subscriptions to SKY, BT, Premier sports, DAZN aswell as forking our £25 for the privilege of any half decent fight. It’s taking the urine.

But where does it end? Now Matchroom US are charging 2 quid soon to be bumped, why can't PBC? Espn launch here for a few quid and so on.

Come on its only a few quid each, before you know it you're paying a ridiculous amount more per month plus all the PPVs ontop. You have to draw the line somewhere.

It's the £25 that's the problem isnt it ? It's an absolute liberty. I'm not here to stick up for broadcasters. It's like at the election, if you dont vote you cant really complain later. You shouldn't come on here, thundering about the sh1t Hearn and Warren put on when you've got IPTV and use illegal streams. You can of course but that's taking the urine as well. If it's too expensive or terrible value, dont buy it. The message will soon get through. If everyone watches illegally , there'll be nothing left to buy.

Noticed fights are all available at later date. Ideal to watch in morning for bills on during middle of night.

Interesting to note that in the US DAZN who launched with the pledge to kill PPV fights are offering the Canelo fight on traditional PPV for $70!

What’s the difference between watching something illegally or not watching at all?

Tonight I paid £10 to watch a league 2 football game which was available for me to watch for free, illegally. However, £10 represents decent value for money and I know the money is desperately needed by my club.

If/when I see a PPV that looks good value for money, something similar to the brook/gavin undercard a few years ago, I’ll happily pay a reasonable amount.

The broadcasters are going to eat themselves through greed - surely it is reasonable for existing subscribers to expect all the sport on those sports subscription channels without having to fork out again for PPV. No problem charging non subscribers PPV.

This greed has resulted in people no longer subscribing to Sly Sports or BT Sports and making one off payments to watch all sport, all movies, all porn etc for the ANNUAL price of 2 Tony Dosh PPVs.

Instead of allowing Pudding Whyte to earn £50m and Tony Dosh boasting about becoming a billionaire, the broadcasters really need to look at reducing their subscription prices and driving down these obscene sums paid to sportsmen whether they be boxers or footballers.

The Sky subscriber base is shrinking at an increasing rate by the month and as we enter our worst recession in history, action will soon be needed before they find that there are not enough subscribers to pay these obscene sums anymore.

The loyal customers have been taken for fools for years but are now increasingly waking up to being fleeced and increasingly voting with their pockets.

I’m gonna sign up for this weekend but I might cancel after Garcia v Campbell. I won’t be staying up for many US fights and I really only like watching sport live.
