Dereck Chisora vs Joe Joyce

Four servings of Chisora in 12 months? Haye loves to spoil fight fans, eh.

 

Joyce is better than Chisora and Dubois may be too, however Chisora looked good v Usyk and Joyce has never been in that deep in the pros and was completely out-boxed by Usyk in the amateyrs after winning his silver at the olympics, I still feel Joyce will score too many jabs for Chisora though, will be a good, interesting fight.

 

Would be a nice step up for Joyce. Chisora is the heavyweight division's litmus test and it seems almost everyone has to go through him to get to the top level or so it seems. Del Boy has fought almost everyone that mattered over the last decade or so.

Chisora I'm sure would give Joyce a real test as long as his stamina lasts. But I think Joyce is too big, too durable, too active, Chisora doesn't have much hope of stopping him and eventually he'll gas out and Joyce will probably stop him late or win a clear decision.

 

Joyce has a solid jab on the outside and isn't gonna get outworked or stopped inside. Joyce late ko or decision.

 

Chisora Might be a good test for Dubois after a few comeback fights though, see if he's learned anything

Chisora is a good tough fighter, but has no plan B and his plan A is limited. It's very unlikely he's going to beat anyone elite or near elite. I haven't seen a lot of Joyce but I think he easily wins. He's incredibly composed and won't be so troubled by Chisora's size, like Usyk was for obvious reasons. He's going to jab the come forward Chisora's head off.

 

This is the much better fight. It's on to bigger fights for Joyce imo.

Agreed. Joyce is 35 and a Chisora fight would just be wasting time treading water. I would think Joyce is looking for a top level fight ASAP.

 

Joyce is gonna run him over were this to happen. This is a stylistic disaster for Chisora at his age (boxing age). I think at this point Joyce should be targeting top 10 guys pretty much exclusively.
