Big fan of ggg but bit classless... I'd like to pummel **** out of Oscar de la hoya of I was him.... N as much as I'd like to say he's just. Saying it to sound nails.. It still comes across as a ****ish thing to say... Didn't like it wen wilder said it so I can't have double standards about it

    Spot on.

Personally it doesn't bother me one bit what GGG and Wilder said, but some of these dudes are shameless with their double standards.

It shows they put a fighter above their credibility.

The only time ODLH should be inside a ring is with his fighter to talk.
He’s way past it to box

    Lord help you.

Do I really have to break it down for you?

2015 before Golovkin fought Lemieux, Ward sent Golovkin an offer, for a fight, 50/50 split for a fight in 2016 at 168. Golovkin ducked it. Its documented. Tom Loeffler has acknowledged the veracity of the offer.

When GGG ducked the offer, Ward simply moved on with his career, and fought Kovalev.

Ward called GGGs bluff about fighting anyone between 154-168, but GGG wanted nothing to do with Ward at 168, so Ward went on to cement his legacy by destroying the reigning LHW champion.

Some reporter asking Ward in 2017 if he would move down in weight for GGG is irrelevant. GGG had his opportunity to accept the offer in 2015 to fight Ward in 2016 but GGG chickened out.

As far as Canelo. Canelo was not a true MW.... and neither was Cotto.

In 2012 there was a demand for Cotto vs Canelo at 154. GBP sent Cotto an offer but Cotto rejected the offer. In the following years there was still a high demand for Cotto and Canelo to face off, and finally despite Cotto moving to MW and having fought at catchweights there he agreed to fight Canelo at the end of 2015. Whether Cotto was MW champion or not was irrelevant to the fight in the same way that it was irrelevant whether there was a title on the line against Chavez Jr. They were both fights in very high demand and would have taken place titles or not, just like Canelo fought Lara for no titles.

It's also important to note that Cotto has only weighed above 154 once, it was against Martinez, and he weighed in at 155. He's also only weighed in at 154 twice. Every fight outside of those three he weighed less than 154. That shows you Cotto also was not a true MW.

So when career 160 lbs GGG started begging for the Canelo fight, Canelo said that he would do it at 154 as that was his weight class when the begging started. GGG flat out refused despite being on record that he would fight anyone between 154-168. Abel Sanchez started making all this noise and talking smack about Canelo a JrMW at the time, for suggesting 154, so Canelo then says he'll fight GGG at 155 for no titles, as he had done with Lara, and had done with Jr. Despite GGG repeatedly claiming over the years he'd fight anyone between 154-168, he again rejected that idea.

So in reality it was GGG who was the reason why the fight didn't get made sooner. Had GGG kept his word as a man, and would have fought Canelo at 154 or 155, he would have fought him a year sooner.

Its pathetic that GGGs legacy revolves so much around a Jr.MW, especially when you consider that he wanted everything served on a silver platter and wanted to be spoon fed.

FFS he was even crying about Canelo boxing him instead of going Mexican style which he thought would play into his strengths. That's why it was so satisfying seeing GGG get his face smashed and his internal organs rearranged in the rematch. He wanted Mexican style, he got it. Lol

Yeah after the Lemieux fight was signed  GTFOH. Ward is on record refusing the Golovkin fight at 168, as I just showed you.

As we all know today, Clenelo was in fact a LHW using drugs to cut weight in order to bully the 154 division. He was a drug cheat looking to drag the older, clean, Golovkin down to a weight where he'd be useless. You should be ashamed of yourself trying to defend this.

Does Golovkin also get to use the industrial grade drugs Clenelo was using to cut weight or is he SOL?

And yet Golovkin thumped him twice and wants a third go to smack him around. You'd think that Canelo would take the easy payday (assuming you were correct about how the fights went) and yet he's still El Pollo Rojo scared to death of a version of GGG that even I think he could beat fair and square

Oscar needs nothing to do with this for his own safety. 0% chance this fight happens. That said Oscar never ducked ANYBODY.

This. I hope Oscar is just spouting off nonsense because golovkin sounds like he'd love to get him into the ring for revenge purposes. Let's be clear: the fight is pointless from a legacy perspective and we all know ODLH is gonna get blatted like a bug

GGG vs De La Hoya would cause more people to complain than Floyd vs non boxers

Oscar did have a hand in robbing him and even admitted it in an open letter.

ODLH in his time zone WAS a great boxer but I was also once a bad mofo about 20 years ago too.
ODLH would risk his life at this point with an average pro so GGG is suicide and I would hope GGG would avoid this discussion and fight

So if Marvin Hagler calls him out, he will respond accordingly too?. Nice logic there from the average Golovkin fan. Then again, look who I'm responding to. A fruitcake that is hyped up for Golovkin vs DLH.

Yeah, and Jacobs is definitely step up quality for his horrendous resume. What was Jacobs again?, a 1/20 underdog?.

All KO artists have a deep seated desire to harm people who oppose them.

Deontay Wilder was Frank about it because he doesn't need anything from peasants and no one is in the position to question him, GGG had to work his way into his fan base, while he works on his English. Nothing wrong with it, if DLH gets a mega payday like Mike Tyson did, it's worth the risk
