Melikuziev is someone coming up but this seems like a fast step up. the only thing is Kovalev is shot but this fight seems winnable
What an absolutely bizarre and totally out of the blue fight. The ghost of Kovalev vs a mere six fight novice super-middleweight prospect albeit a very talented highly regarded one both fighting at a catch-weight of 178. Bek is chubby at 168 albeit very strong and powerful. Talk about high risk low reward for Kov.
****, I don't like this fight at all. I don't necessarily want to see Melikuziev lose, and I don't want to see Kovalev violently KO'd yet again.. But Kovalev was and still is my guy, and I'm rolling with him to the end. He's been off a year, and if he comes into this healthy and with a good game plan, the Bully might just be the one getting his ass bullied. Because he's hoping the Krusher is done and he can claim an easy scalp, hopefully that blows up in his face. But I'm not getting my hopes up.
Damn good fight, Bek Bully gonna bring it to Krusher. Yea high risk low reward but Krusher don't give AF, ever since he grew up on the streets of Chelyabinsk he gonna give it to anyone.
Good crossroads fight since is same day same city as Beterbiev fight I hope both win and fight later in 2021
its a calculated risk. He has everything to gain. Havent seen him fight but if anyone lands on todays kovalev he is in the Fight. Kovalev is too far gone in my view, but like i said i havent watched Bek
I'd recommend watching him, this guy is a quality operator. Incredible footwork and head movement, great power, has a streak of flair and speedy combination punching. Not to mention he's a very short but stocky southpaw who in the amateurs (and now the pros seemingly) fought men from weight classes above regularly and not only beat them but schooled them. I also agree that he obviously has a means to winning this, I just like how ambitious this move is. Very refreshing to see.
Why do you like Kovalev? I really like watching him fight but **** me is he a bad person who isn't worth being a fan of. I don't even label people as bad lightly, but he's engaged in some heinous behaviour.
kovalel looked absolutely feeble against Canelo, despite winning most of the rounds. I'd still like to see the Kovalev Stevenson fight, at this point they're both kind of in the same point at their careers, it could be a very competitive fight with the opportunity to ride triumphantly off into the sunset. if stevenson cant fight because of the coma then may be Godvaznyk. he is in similar status
