I can't think of anything worse than dropping all the belts.
It took years to get all the belts in to the position we're in now. It would mean the best fighters grabbing a belt each and holding on for dear life.

I'd actually support this, I mean nobody rates Holmes any less for never being undisputed and Wlad never had the WBC belt. The belts are meaningless really once you get to the level of Joshua and Fury. People remember you more for who you fought not which belts you had, I mean how many times was Floyd undisputed?

Fact is the desire for Joshua to become undisputed worked against him and benefited his rivals. Wilder was making peanuts before Joshua came along and greatly profited from the idea they could one day unify. Joshua should of just said I'm the cash cow this is how much you'll get if you don't want it fine I don't need your belt. Floyd never allowed himself to be dictated too because he knew his value extended beyond which belts he had. Wilder would of either continued fighting in obscurity or taken what was offered and people knowing there would never be a better offer wouldn't of over valued Wilder and invested into him.

So yeah throw the belts away if that's what's needed to make the Fury fight. At worst it just means whoever comes out on top then has a bunch of contenders with titles as a marketing tool to hike up interest because lets be honest there really are not that many truly big money making fights beyond Joshua and Fury so giving some nameless contender a belt would help.

They are shi... themselves cause usyk would school aj big time and there would be no mega money extravaganza. Usyk I the biggest threat to the money machine hearns and joshua and they know it that's why all the talk of vacating and stepping aside started

Dropping all the belts is not such a good idea simply because some hack like Wilder would pick them up and hold them hostage for 5 years by fighting Washington's and Shpilkas. This would be a total disaster.
Young fighters won't get a chance to fight for the belts anymore and armies of Wilder fans would declare him the greatest.
Maybe AJ could drop WBO only.

Let me get this straight. AJ will fight Klitschko and Povetkin inside 22 fights but avoid a blown up cruiserweight Michael Hunter :D

Er. Yes and he already pulled the duck just like I predicted he would. Instead of taking on Hunter he opted for Hunter's surrogate son, a walking blob who Hunter stopped in the ams. But to be fair to him he doesn't possess Serge The Soothsayer's powers of prediction and he couldn't have foreseen how spectacularly it would backfire lol

''Why am I feeling like this?'' :risas3:

Hunter is a good fighter but he’s not good enough to beat the top guys in the heavyweight division. His career would be better off if he went back down to cruiserweight but for financial reason of course he’s staying for the money.
