That fat Cuban isn't a day over 1950, but he is an excellent boxer. With decent power, which is the last thing a boxer loses, he can trouble Whyte, as long as his legs aren't completely shot.

Whyte will get countered and won't be able to outbox Ortiz unless the Cuban gets tired or can't move. If he is chasing a fight against Ortiz he may get starched.

Whyte will want to keep it in the trenches and up in Ortiz's face taking away his space and power, whilst tiring out his geriatric legs. Once he has done that he should be able to work him over.

Id pick the Ortiz from 50 years ago to beat Whyte.... but he's likely not that guy anymore. I think he will likely be too old and just too out of it at this point. Whyte UD.

Unless whytes punch resistance is completely gone now, in which case Ortiz just needs one shot

Ortiz is far better at pot-shotting than Whyte.

Both of them beat Parker with ease, no doubt

87 year old Ortiz can accept all he likes, the WBC have to intervene and make sure this isn't an eliminator.

They have to give Ruiz Jr the opportunity, maybe even Wilder (depending on the Fury situation), they are ranked higher, former world champions and Ruiz Jr hasn't had a shot at the WBC belt.

Hearn is trying to pull another fast one here, he is trying to arrange eliminators and slip in another old man instead of giving Whyte a real and legitimate challenge.

Hearn doesn't want Whyte near Ruiz or Wilder, so he has looked down the list of potentially available ranked opponents and picked the oldest and easiest and thinks that's a good enough to replace Povetkin.

I hope the WBC tell Hearn to do one.
