Calling all Pacquiao-Haters!!!: I ask, why?

    There seem to be many people on this forum who hate Pacquiao. I would love to know why. Here we have a guy who is a really exciting fighter to watch (isn't that the point of a sport, of any entertainment?), who cares if the fans enjoy his fights, who likes to fight the best guys around and try to prove he is better than them, who doesn't really seem to have any apparent reason NOT to like him???

    The guy is a great boxer. He may not be the greatest ever, definitely is not without flaws, but he's still definitely one of the best fighting right now (or THE best depending on your opinion). What's the problem? I'm not going to argue, I'm just interested to know.

    We don't hate him, some of us just feel he gets to much credit for fights he lost, and others believe he has no chance against welterweights.

    I like Pac but his Pacamaniac fans are annoying , disrespectful to other fighters and they dont know a damn thing about boxing!

    The same thing happened with Trinidad fans and soon it will hapen with Pavliks fans ..Its sad that a few bad apples can spoil the bunch ..

    When someone proves unstoppable, or invincable, they produce a lot of hate. This is just the reality. Blasting through competition pisses people off more than someone like Williams or Margo that wins some looses some.

    Not many hate Pacquiao

    Unfortunately the fans are completely unrealistic, disrespectful to other fighters past and present, seem to be fans of Pac and not boxing. Therefore when we try to bring some balance to it by suggesting he isn't the greatest of all-time, we are called haters :patsch

    how predictable really those who hate this great boxer. they will just recycle any of the 5 resons above just not to give him credit. imagine the #1 reason, his fans? lol.

    I don't think it's that Pac is hated on by many. I think Pac's fans annoy the boxing community like none other. they know very little about the sport, but disrespect anyone who questions their knowledge or their hero.

    but it's true, his fans act like boxing was dead before him and is gonna die after him......actually, PACLAND made me hate all pac issues and subjects...but i'm actually a fan of the guy

    Pac is fun to watch. His fanatics make him horrible to discuss.

    They have got to be the worse fan base to ever roam the internet.
