Bob Foster is a prime example. A light heavyweight great arguably number 1 and I wouldn't pick him to beat Dave Allen.

One that springs to mind is Don Curry. He probably stayed at Welterweight, where he was imperious, a year too long but he was cannon fodder at Light Middle.

Exageration per Curry Not cannon fodder at 154. Beat Santos, Rossi and Aquino lost to McCallum who turned out to be pretty dominant at 154.

It's debatable whether folks consider Vassily Jirov great but he was an Olympic gold medalist that was a solid champion at Cruiserweight before losing his belt in a tough fight with an ATG in James Toney.

When he moved up to Heavyweight he clearly lost a UD to Joe Mesi before getting stooped my an old and overweight Michael Moorer. Aftwr that, He was held to a draw against a past his prime and overweight Orlin Norris at heavyweight.

Pretty crappy record north of 200 pounds.

Judah became undisputed at welterweight, his finest achievement. He wasn’t as good but I wouldn’t include him personally.

Broner was never remotely great at any weight class.

Don't you know? He used the shoulder roll, so he was obviously an ATG.

    Carlos Zarate

    Wilfredo Gomez.

Although he won belts in 2 other weight classes, he just wasn't the same at 122 where he's the GOAT.
