Judges didn't make Loma leave his nuts in the locker room for half a fight

Real low class from Loma. Yes Lederman's card was awful, but the right man won. Judges had nothing to do with Lomachenko morphing into Nopunchenko for the first six rounds. He left his nuts in the dressing room, and they didn't make it to the ring until the last third of the fight.

No but he may have left his shoulder on the operating table before the ring walk.

Va-SILLY Lose-a-chenko was just another "God" that turned out to be only human. First Salido and now Lopez. Who next? Gervonta David would put him to sleep.

Rounds 1 to 7 Va-SILLY Lose-a-chenko had his ballet shoes on and acting a coward.

Lopez put a bad beating on Va-SILLY Lose-a-chenko in round 12, landing over 50 hard shots. My favourite round of the fight.

I haven't really heard anyone disagree with this, even major fans of Loma. I don't exactly know why Loma performed so badly, but it wasn't the judges' fault he lost.

I really don't know how he could possibly think he won that fight. Maybe he confused the fight for a dance competition?

Overall, I agree Loma's claims really make him look bad. I've never been a massive fan of Loma, but I still recognize he's a major talent and I hope he can right the ship. Personally, I would recommend he go back down a division or two -- I really think 135 was too big a leap for him.

I guess thats what happens when one has 397 amateur fights before the age of 32. That must have had some serious stress on his body.

Yep and the weird unorthodox training methods which are not really necessary for a boxer, which stress the f out of the shoulder girdle. Keep it simple like the old school fighters who fought every day and twice on a sunday, Train smart fight easy.

No need to rub it in. Many are not surprised by the overall realization that so many have been forced to realize. He's a great fighter. He's just not historically relevant in anywhere near the way you would think if your opinions were based on the proven-wrong-majority posters on this forum.

It was weird for me. It wasn't like Teo punished him for his punches so Loma stopped throwing them, he didn't even try... Hurt shoulder seems like a reasonable cause.

Fear of the incoming heat. Lopez wasn't small, old, or primitively skilled. He was Loma's size, fast and powerful. He didn't like the body shots early on.

Loma clearly lost the fight but to an extend he is right when he is saying the outcome was fixed.
It is impossible to not give him 4 rounds and two of the scorecards were 119-109 and 117-111.
If he won 8 rounds clearly he probably still would have lost the fight because Weisfeld and Julie Lederman were never going to allow it.
While i give Weisfeld the benefit of the doubt in Julie's case it's corruption.
She gave the Lopez the 8th,but he spent most of that round on queeeer street .

The comments smell of sour grapes. Interestingly enough his scoring is plausible, round 2 for him and rounds 7-11. Which makes the fight a draw. However if best you can do is a draw for yourself - you can’t complain when you lose. Some of those 7-11 rounds were close. This was my issue with Kovalev vs Ward 1. Kovalev dominated the first half of the fight, also scoring a knockdown to his advantage, Ward fought back and made it competitive in the second half of the fight. The difference was all the judges scored it for Ward in the manner Lomachenko wants it scored for himself. So yes bias in judging or bribing does exist. I just can’t see Lomachenko trying to claim he won a fight when at best he earned a draw. This is twice now with Lomachenko where his internal clock takes too long to get started and he gives away too many rounds, before he gets going. He has to fix that flaw.

I do agree that the right man won the fight (I believe I had 115-113 Lopez).

I think a combination of Lopez's size/power, ring rust, and perhaps the ill effects of a nagging shoulder injury contributed to his inactivity in the opening half of the fight. Nevertheless, to say he "left his nuts in the locker room" is perhaps more descriptive of your boy Rigo when he quit against Lomachenko.

Lopez is a naturally bigger man than Lomachenko. How much bigger is a matter of debate, of course.
