A rematch would do well I think. Definitely hyped if it happens.

Nope, Lomas past prime and carrying a shoulder injury that has pretty much finished his career, that’s why Lopez said “ he’s on his way out of the game”

Nah, young fighters say that all the time like “he had his time, it’s my time to shine now,” yes Teofimo and Lomachenko are in different eras but Lomachenko was not yet past his prime when he fought Lopez, he was just at the end of his prime (still in his prime). I don’t buy the shoulder excuse, I believe the shoulder thing is a conspiracy theory connected to Pacquiao’s shoulder thing from the Floyd fight, both supposedly injured their shoulder in the 2nd round and yet both did not stop fighting at a slow pace until the rounds AFTER the second round. Lomachenko and his camp also kept changing the shoulder injury date lol, first it was before training, now it was supposedly in the 2nd round. BS!

Maybe he is thinking that for fight with next opponent he might get better paycheck than for rematch vs Loma?

If it might be sold well, why not. Yeah.

Well, looks that Lopze had learned to box and too might continue to improve exactly now.

    I don't know.
He had very long mileage in amateurs with a lot of training camps, championships.
Weight class 135 also looks too large for him.

Loma only has his negotiating team to blame that he didn't have an iron-clad rematch clause.

Whilst I think Lopez is mighty grating and arrogant, I can see why he wouldn't want to give Loma and his team the time of day due to the way he was treated in the 1st fight.

On the other hand, best way for Lopez to put it to bed is get the KO.

Was an OK fight hampered by Loma's inactivity in the 1st 6 rounds (though I gave him one of the first 6).

Maybe that great round 12 would be how it would be in a rematch where Lopez got the better of the exchanges?
Or maybe Teo wouldn't be able to keep with Loma if he starts at the pace he got to in 7-11?

IMO it's as good a fight to watch as any other Lopez can get and makes him some nice scratch

You don’t buy the shoulder injury ? The pics were on here of the stitches all round his shoulder in a hospital bed, you not see them ?

For all the nonsense he spouts, the danger is that he put himself further from a rematch. A bit like Wilder and Fury. But in the case of Loma-Lopez I'd really want to see another fight between them, but my guess is that Lopez fights the winner of Campbell-Garcia and maybe one or two fights more and then moves up.

Like most people, a rematch is more than fair. But, thanks to Loma's douchery it might not happen. If Loma would man up and admit/accept the loss, then I think the public would turn on Teo and demand the rematch. Right now, Loma just sound like a spoiled sour puss.

They should have the rematch in fall on PPV. It could do food numbers. Teo can also move up, he's a big 135er, and has Ramirez and Taylor waiting for him so in fact he does have options

Loma can fight Berchelt. Haney, Ryan G or Gervonta still won't go near him imo

This guy is getting steroids confidence whilst he recovers from his terminal shoulder injury.

Few more fights till retirement. keep talking.

Lopez only started to falter when his stamina and legs were drained late fight. Going back in straight lines whilst Loma came forward in straight lines. Nothing special., Lopez will improve Loma can only improve his early gameplan at great peril.

The younger sharper Lopez didn't fall for any of Loma's showy tactics.

Loma, no matter what he has already achieved, was/is still another over-hyped fighter.

He never really stood a chance to live up to what loma-tards made him out to be.

Glad the hype is over now!

Elective surgery, which he could have had any different time. It obviously wasn't serious since Loma was throwing plenty right hooks in the 12th.
