He wasn't cheated. 2 close fights didn't go his way. I can agree I thought ggg edged one round more than canelo in fight one so I cannot sit here and claim he was cheated because the outcome was one round different than how I saw it. My point is if your younger when you step up things like this don't effectively end your career. He now has about as much of a legacy as sven ottke and there's not much he can do about it

Both fights were close by my eye. No robbery. It does feel wrong that GGG received no W, however.

Clauses and A side in hometown so there. most likely he was 0-2 in U.K in event promoted by eddie or frank vs U.K prospect here.

Naw, Canelo likes me a lot. He isn't like Ottke. Ottke = highly skilled, hometown fighter, very difficult to hit him propely and really skilled.
Canelo is willing to fight and does not have fear to get hurt, he might crack and he likes me.
Especially because he since young age had been turned into a pro prizefighter. Me likes this lad regardless from record or belts.

Even if that is so, and it isnt, one robbery is too many. Then it would be one to one. If Canelo had it his way he would be 2-0 and have no shame what so ever, nor would his fans.

I never thought he was unbeatable but if there is an example of how boxing politics ruins the sport it is GGG. The sport has screwed him over time after time. I don't get why 'fans' chose to hate him? An elite level boxer with brilliant power and always comes to fight?? What's not to like?

I disagree, GGG holds the middleweight title defense record of 20 with 18 by KO. There is a big difference. That's like comparing Mike Tyson or Sonny Liston to Chris Byrd. Nice try though. People love KO'S.

Comparing Mike Tyson and Sonny Liston to GGG when you know good and well ggg never won any of his belts off of a legit champion and 99% of his defenses were against flat out bums is just dishonest. Should we compared Deontay Wilder to those guys as well?

Yet he beat Canelo the first time they fought. Not bad for a illegitimate champ.

****ing LOL at putting Golovkin in the same sentence as Tyson or Liston.

Golovkin gets so overrated it's comical.

Golovkin defended the WBA regular belt, the IBO title, and the WBC interim title, all meaningless trinket belts.

First fight I had Golovkin up 8-4 but their were some close rounds and I could have seen a draw but 118-110 for Canelo was insane. The second fight I had a draw 6 rounds to 6 and I thought giving it to Canelo wasn't that terrible of a decision. I wouldn't call the second a robbery but yeah both decisions were controversial they were both close fights especially the second but GGG In my opinion definitely deserved to get the nod in the first fight. Its been a while since I scored em so for the sake of it being Christmas eve I'm gonna watch both fights today with my girlfriend and score em lol

Rounds 3, 10, 11 and 12 weren't close. They were each clear Canelo rounds. You only have Canelo winning 1 non-close round the entire match and have GGG winning 5 non-close rounds? You could argue GGG won rounds 4 5 and 6 but each was extremely close and difficult for many people to score. Up until the last minute of the 5th round, it was all Canelo. Canelo outlanded GGG in the 5th but I gave that round to GGG simply because GGG finally did something and landed that shot with Canelo on the ropes and had some decent offense in the final minute. But the 4th and the 5th could both go to Canelo for a clean Canelo sweep after 5 or 6 rounds if you give Canelo a close 6th.

For rounds 10 and 11, to give GGG both of those rounds is baffling. For round 10 the argument is that Canelo didn't do anything for the last 2 minutes. This mindset represents a failure of understanding how a round is scored. It is not divided into 3 separate minutes where if you win 2 minutes and lose the 3rd minute you win because you won more minutes. It's about punches landed, whenever they occur in the round. Canelo landed a ton more clean effective punches in the first minute than GGG landed in the entire round, Canelo built an insurmountable lead in the first minute and that it why he outboxed in the last 2 minutes because he knew he was so far ahead in the round from what he did in the first minute. GGG wasn't capable of evening up that round after the pummeling he took in the first minute. He was made to look silly chasing Canelo out of desperation for the next 2 minute. He knew he had lost the round and GGG was getting desperate at this point.

Round 11 - it's inexplicable to score this round to GGG. I would be very interested to know what your reasoning is here. Almost everybody universally had Canelo winning the last 3 rounds.
