Both coming off huge losses and dropping belts. Winner straight back in the title picture.

    Who wins?

Funny to think this could be:

    1. Far and away the best, most exciting fight between two American heavyweights since the 90s
    2. A one sided beat down on either side
    3. A sad sack display disgracing the legacy of two champions

All are possible based on the form we've seen from them both in and out of the ring in the last 2 years.

Wilder will sit back and wait for the winner of Fury Joshua,, now Ruiz ,he has to get a decent win to get back into the picture

I've been calling for this fight for 2years now
nice style matchup, both PBC fighters

    both coming off the L

I'm a have to go with ma man Wilder on this one.

Ruiz is one of those guys that lost his hunger. one night sleeping on those silk sheets and he done gone soft.

Wilders had his own issues, but I think he exploits Ruiz, the fat slob and sends him back to Al Haymon in a bodybag

Both at their best and I think Ruiz pressures Wilder and takes him apart close. Would probably be a good scrap.

I'd love to see it, but Wilder would never be willing to take a fight with a prime top 10-15 heavyweight.

The only reason he fought Fury is because Tyson was coming off several years of inactivity and mental health problems.

If they are motivated and in good shape, why not.:nonono
Ruiz loss was on points and he looked pretty fresh, while Fury had finished Wilder in distance.
Wilder might fight also vs Usyk if he does not fear to do this.
Apart from these excuses and crazy tales, in the ring Wilder does look willing to fight and might be watchable fighter.

I agree that the outcome of the fight could very well be a Wilder Victory.
But 1 - Ruiz will never lose his HUNGER ...:eatingburger

& 2 Ruiz Been SOFT ... long before he started sleeping on silk sheets! :eusa_dance:

I would like to hear if you don't fight each other, you don't get a shot @ a world belt.
Then thay might fight each other ???

Wilder isn’t taking that fight. There’s a good chance he gets blasted out and that would be the end of his career. That said, I would love to see it. It’s a win win because if Ruiz comes in looking worse than ever, it’d be nice to see him KTFO. If Ruiz KTFOs the excuse maker, it’s nice too.

And Ruiz has a history of facing top contenders in non-title bouts left and right, right? Despite the fact that he ducked Ortiz earlier this year, saying that he needed a tune up first. The same guy who Wilder look on twice in voluntary title defences.
