Yes, the "something in him" was steroids. Also, there are a lot of guys who can beat him, but he won't fight them. Which is my entire point

 

My whole thing is, these guys have gotten comfortable with not fighting the best, but running their mouths and acting like they are unbeatable. I say prove it by fighting. Isn't that what a boxer is supposed to do? Actually fight. Not avoid the big fights. Run through the division. And then I'll gladly call Fury or whomever the best. A lot of you guys hate AJ but deep down you have to admit, he is either fighting, or trying to fight the best out there.

Wilder used to be a humble, down to earth guy around 4-5 years ago. When he gave interviews you literally listened to a guy who loved the sport and was genuinely interested in improving his craft.

Once he became WBC belt holder his behaviour and self-portrayal changed drastically. Himself and his team of advisors blew his head so full o hot steam, creating a fantasy of 'the hardest hitting heavyweight' and him being 'unbeatable by any man on earth' that he actually started to believe it. He deluded himself and lived in a parallel universe.

You now see the result of that. His dreamworld was shattered in brutal fashion and he is unable to cope with reality. He's like a drug addict on cold turkey. He desperately wants to become this invincible and all-powerful superhero again but he can't because he never existed in the first place.

 

There is a jar of peanut butter out there missing it's last and final peanut before it can be sealed, packaged and sold.
