Most recently, Paul vs the basketball player. People were actually thinking that just because the basketball player can jump high and has crazy athleticism, he can box someone who's been training boxing for the past 2-3 years.

    I calld it:

    Nate Campbell vs Juan Diaz
mosely vs Margarito (I was ringside fam)
    B-Hop vs Tito
    Morales vs Pac 1
ward vs Kessler (I was ringside fam)

those are the best ones I can think of right now

After Fury Wilder 1 it seemed obvious to me that anybody picking Wilder as favourite in the rematch was smoking their socks. I sure as hell never expected the asswhipping Fury laid on Wilder though. I thought he'd stick and move.

    Maidana vs Broner
Broner had issues with that style and needed a couple of gifts already. I was pretty sure Maidana would maul him.

I thought it was stupid to pick anyone in that fight. Well, at least Wilder.
A lot of people went into that rematch with absolute certainty that Wilder would win.
If you should have been confident in anyone, it was Fury.

We must have been some of the very few people that thought Corrie was going to beat Klitschko :beer-toast1: then again I'd seen a lot of Sanders before that and knew his potential.

Almost everyone had De La Hoya beating Pacman by an early KO but I knew Manny wasn't letting his fans down and would be too fast for an aging Oscar.

I'm an old drunkard but I do vaguely remember picking JMM over Pac each time (and scoring 3 fights in his favor plus the KO), Hopkins over Tito Tarver Pavlik, Sexy over Cintron Williams x2 (arguably won 1st) Pavlik, Cotto over Sexy (cause of knee), Pac over Barrera DLH Cotto, Salido over JuanMa Loma, Rigo over Nonaire, Clen over Mosley Trout (many picked the opponent), Margarito over Cotto in 1st, Wlad over Peter, Pirog over Jacobs, Spinks over Mayorga, Pavlik, Froch, Abraham over Jermain, Ward over Kessler & Froch (many chose the opponent), Calzaghe over Lacy Hopkins, Castillo over Corrales, Tszyu over Zab... so many correct pics by the Kirk Champion.

    Klitschko - Fury.

Clearly remember Fury saying that, unlike all the others, he wasn’t going in there to knock Wlad out. He was going to outbox him and use his skills, size and youth. Make the older man feel his age.

Something about that just got to me, like “this guy... this guy gets it”.

Was he a big underdog though? Surely Klitschko was the favorite, but can’t remember if he was that heavily favored.
