Jou louis vs tyson fury

I personally do not think that Tyson Fury has reached that level yet. He had one great victory, but let him have potentially great fights against Anthony Joshua, or a rematch against Deontay Wilder before I make a decision on his greatness. Too early, just like everyone was claiming Ingo's greatness in 1959, or Andy Ruiz's greatness after his victory over Anthony Joshua.

 

I rate Joe 1 or 2 all time depending on the day.

But Fury has the length, footwork and tenacity to win this. At his peak and Joe's peak, I will shade to Tyson.

 

Tyson Fury and it’s an obvious mismatch

 

It is far too early to declare Tyson Fury the greatest.

 

I am pretty sure Tyson Fury would beat Jou Louis. Now who was Jou again?

 

Fury, it would be unfair for Louis to fight him, times have evolved so much, we’re talking like 75 years ago, people on here have deluded themselves into thinking that not only could these old timers have competed with today’s heavyweights, but that they would dominate and easily beat the likes of Tyson fury, Louis was like 200lbs and would not even be a big Crusierweight today, but that was like the average weight for a heavyweight back then, it’s not even like Louis was accustomed to fighting huge guys, he did fight Carnera, but he could fight his normal fight because Carnera was so bad, Carnera would not even make top 100 in today’s heavyweight division, anyway Fury would easily beat Louis and you’re deluding yourself if you think otherwise, Louis had slow feet and his counters would be falling miserably short and Fury would be hitting him with straight punches at will and would put him down sooner or later and it would be all fury, and god forbid you think Louis would stand any chance of coming forward against Fury, you deluding yourself big time, Fury is not a 40s fighter, fighters nowadays actually know how to use their size to back up opponents and still use their reach

 

I'd favor Louis at this point but Fury's live.

 

Fury would do much better than Carnera...except he'd look pretty much the same in the end. Louis trashes him in the 12th. Multiple kds and a stoppage with Fury helpless and looking like a stumbling Jethro Bodean lookin' mother****er.

 

Terrible match up for Louis. Fury has the reach and footwork to beat him on the outside. Louis didn't have the footspeed to chase him down or consistently corner him which he would need to do to land his dynamite combinations.

 

Fury would probably make Louis look bad for a while, he's very rangy and awkward.

But Louis's hand speed was immense. I think he would land and stop him late

 

I rate Tyson Fury pretty high despite the thin resume (getting better w the Wilder fights). I don’t think he beats Joe. Joe eventually catches up to him. Wilder let him off the hook and barely threw any punches or applied pressure. Joe will be going all night with much better and more accurate combos. But if Joe doesn’t knock him out it’s probably Fury’s decision he has decent stamina for a fat guy.
