does this KO percentage matters so much?
U might get 5-0-0 pro record with 5 KOs if you will have decent manager and promoter plus promotion where you will be allowed to fight with short notice bums without pre fight camp and forced to make weight in short timeframe etc.
10-0-0 ( 10 KOs ) record too is possible to have vs bums.
Like some prospects when does have someone with pulse and not so much mismatched away corner guy, ends with win by robbery for A side kid on cards.

 

In order of necessity:

They’ll bribe 1 judge and pray to get lucky with the other 2.
They’ll have his corner slip him a mickey during the fight.
They’ll wrap his hands with extra quilted toilet paper.
They’ll have a blowgun sniper in the rafters.

of course the ko ratio matters. 100% ko does not mean that he hits like a truck. But 30% ko does mean that he hits like a lady. 30% ko is nothing at top level. Specially with 100% victories. KO ratio for me is a very very very important statistic, like reach. It determines the way a fight goes.

May I be wrong? sure, ofc. But when I have a look at the fighters in a fight, ko ratio, reach, previous weights and victories/defeats (and vs who) are the things I look at.

 

My take on the fight is that Campbell will need to win 116-112 clear, to get a draw.

Much like the 116-112 clear win GGG needed in the first Canelo fight to get a draw.

I'm glad this is on at a sensible time being in the UK, but as it's in Dallas I'm puzzled why it isn't in the middle of the night/early morning for once?

 

With this mentality, nothing is a dive. Sure, the majority of people will cry dive when it's not. But taking a dive is not nearly that hard. If you take a decent punch that lands and you pretend it hurt you badly, literally no one can prove that it was a dive. Even if the fall looks fake as hell.

Scott vs Wilder looked like a dive. I have no way to prove it, though, since a punch did land.

 

Even if it does look fake as hell... nothing is done about it anyway so who cares if the acting is good or not?
