Is Errol Spence Ducking Terence Crawford?

Spence has now gone to claiming he deserves 70/30 or even 80/20. Please name me a fight with both fighters have a belt that one got 70 or 80% of the split. First it was "let the fight marinate." Then it was "he's on the wrong side of the street" and now it is nonsense about a 70 or 80% of the split. Seems it is Spence who is worried about "getting wrecked." If PBC thought that anyone in their stable of boxers could beat Crawford they would be knocking down the door to fight him. Just make the bleeping fight and let's find out

 

This is helpful. I wasn’t entirely sure until you pointed out that the consensus #1 p4p fighter in the world is delusional for thinking 50/50 would be fair.

 

Spence is deluded in thinking it should be more than a 50/50 split.
The only reason is asking so much is because he knows hes getting wrecked & wants the cash out $$$.

 

PPV numbers speak for themselves on who brings the $$$

P4P means jack **** in regards to purse amounts. Why do 'knowledgeable' posters still use this as if it's something official? It's a fan made rankings w/ criteria no one agrees on.

What dictates your purse is:
1. The deal you have w/ your promoter or network
2. How much people want to see you fight.

 

It all seems like normal posturing that you see at the beginning of many negotiations. I don't think one is ducking the other. Would love to see the fight.

 

That's the way Spence used to duck Crawford. Offer an unacceptable deal to make the fight not possible to happen.
