They were showing Luke Campbell as Ryan Garcia was being announced one of the worst F-ups I’ve seen by a production team
“He got da looks & da hooks!” Mora is pure freeloading sleeze. I bet he double fists Samiches from craft services & stuffs them in his sports coat.
Horrible far worse than anything I have seen in a very long time. Ring announcer announcing Garcia first by mistake as Campbell was being filmed. One of the commentators going on about how good looking Garcia was the entire time. Sounded like he wanks off to posters of Garcia off air. Aswell as them ignoring all Campbells work and stating without irony that Garcia “has the fastest hands of anyone Campbell has ever met”. As Campbell is an 82 fight Olympic gold medalist we all know that is ****ing bull****.
They were quite clearly pushing the garcia agenda. It wasn't even closeted or remotely veiled. They must have mentioned 6 or 7 times how well garvia had recovered from the knockdown. But the highlight for me was "great 4 punch combination from garcia" that was entirely blocked by campbell. I think being knocked down by campbell was one of the best things to happen to garcia. It should humble him a bit, help him improve and it did give me a very sweet but guilty feeling.
The worst part was whatshisname medalion man talking to Ricky Hatton in from of that giant tv. With DAZN written on it.
In the final presser they announced Wilder onto stage first accidentally, Fury commented that they will be fuming, Fury was also dressed up to try and be imposing to Wilder so it all played into his plan.
The legendary quote: "he just landed that straight, right uppercut" will always make me want to punch Sergio Mora.
