Better than who? Not Frazier or Ali. Tyson's record can't stand up to it. Don't be a fanboy. Study the sport.

Tyson was more of a midrange boxer. He needed room to get off his combinations.

Inside he would get tied up and clinched a lot and would conserve energy most of the time in these situations.

Frazier is better inside but Tyson is better midrange.

Yeah I don't see Frazier lasting against Tyson.

    Tyson via TKO or RTD.

Frazier has a huge heart but Tyson is an athletic freak. He has speed, power, accuracy, size and defense over Frazier. Frazier was vulnerable to uppercuts and Tyson had monstrous uppercuts.

It would be an excellent fight. Tyson probably hit harder than Frazier, and would land his fair share. Probably even hurt Ali on multiple occasions.

While people comment on Tyson's head movement, Joe Frazier moved his head a lot more than Tyson ever did during a fight. Frazier was constantly moving his head. Not here and there, but minute after minute, round by round. Still, Ali lumped up Frazier's face pretty bad.

I'd say it goes 12 rounds and Ali wins a close but unanimous decision. If anyone is stopped, it's Tyson. Tyson tended to come apart when he started getting hit a lot. He'd look to hold. He'd stop throwing combinations and start trying to land one big one. And the 1974 version of Ali would hit him A LOT.

'88 Tyson breaks more than '74 Ali's jaw in this one.

*I disagree with that rating system, wholeheartedly. Not halfheartedly. But the whole...for the betterment of man. For the love of G-d. For the honor and glory and the wisdom and the power. Now and forever. Amen.

If you judge it that way, then Chuvalo and McCall must get a 10+, which means they are out of contest, they both had a better chin then Foreman.

Even Teddy Atlas thinks Tyson beats Frazier.
In his opinion Foreman and Liston beat Tyson, but Tyson beats Frazier.

I always thought Atlas was a know nothing blowhard. Where is his line of greats? The whole d'Matta camp were self-aggrandizing blowhards. Nothing more. Overrated.

It counts so much because usually he doesnt speak very well about Tyson. He even stated many times he thinks Tyson would always loose to Holyfield, Lewis and many other greats from the past.
I would not be surprised if he would pick a current Fury over a prime Iron Mike.
