Any fighters in mind that you can think of that possesses really fast hand speed but in contrast they have slow footwork?
Ryan Garcia is the first to come to mind. What I notice about him is that despite his quick hands he sure does move like a plodder, which is something I'd like to see him improve on down the road.

    James Toney.
Well that needs an explanation. Toney's footwork was excellent on the inside, getting to the angle he needed to be. He used economical subtle shifts that were plenty quick enough. But on the outside, he was not much of a mover.

Canelo? He has decent hand speed but his feet seem kind of slow.

he doesnt need to bounce around... hes good as he is. if he's moving the other guy isnt throwing something and he isnt whipping in his left hook. Moves like Canelo... no need to change

I call these guys the pocket fighters. Joe Louis, James Toney, Canelo are all solid examples.

Joe Louis' handspeed >>>>>>>> Joe Louis' foot speed.

When I saw this the first fighter I thought of among the top HWs was Ruiz.

If he could drop 20 or more pounds it would help his foot speed and stamina. He may never be a good mover but his weight problem is damaging his boxing career.
