When Mike Tyson was going through bankruptcy he found out that Cus had saved over $200,000 of his purse money from his early fights and stored it in a trust account for Mike in case he fell on hard times. Mike mentioned it in his book and I've always remembered that because everybody inn Tyson's life robbed him and even from the ****ing grave Cus looked out for him. hat man should be ordained for sainthood in my opinion. Pretty sure Jim Jacobs was good to Tyson too before he died. When Cus passed in ‘85, Jacobs was the barrier between Tyson and the wolves. When Jacobs passed in ‘88, it was open season for the wolves. At least that’s how I’ve always seen it. I didn’t know that about Cus and the trust account, truly an amazing guy.
