I think Adam Smith and the rest of the Sky Team are awfully bias. But DAZN made them look fair and reasonable. For example, within 25 seconds of the fight the Comms on DAZN said something like "I love the way Garcia has started the fight" 30 seconds in? Without a punch thrown? If they meant that Garcia came forward and took the centre of the ring then say so.. don't pretend Garcia is already dominating within 25 seconds. Other times they were going on and on and on about Garcia's punches that were clearly hitting gloves or shoulder and basically scoring them and completely ignoring Campbell's punches. I think somebody somewhere had a word and they started acknowledging Campbell's punches. Even when Garcia went down, it turned quickly to how great Garcia was getting up, nothing much about the punch that put him there. They do it every time, they go with one fighter and he does nothing wrong, it's bias and embarrassing and if they think British boxing fans will suffer that every week then they are in for a shock.
Never watched him if im honest But reading about him and with Kovas stage of his career its an intriguing fight
Ive seen clips of him built like a tank but small for the weight, hits very hard at the level he's been fighting.lots of ytb channels are tipping him to beat kovalev despite being 6-0 and not fought a top 50 fighter.loads of Uzbeks coming through now giyasov and especially ergashev at 140 look very tasty.
I posted my thoughts on this in a thread on it in general, and it was the number 1 most bias and worst coverage i can remember. It got off to a terrible start with the Mexican version of Michael Buffer announcing Garcia first with the camera pointing at Campbell. The gushing over Garcia's looks was cringeworthy. They were oozing over a Garcia combination that was blocked on the gloves of Campbell. One of the analysts had a scorecard that was fan boy esque. The same commentator who was gushing over Garcia as a "pretty boy" was so clueless even his co-commentator had to correct him. I think the last time i saw coverage nearly as unprofessional was when there was one of those David Haye fights on Dave, or in the early days of Setanta sports boxing.
Heard someone dub him as "Miguel Buffer" lol.there would have been a meltdown on a biblical scale if Garcia got beat, would have been lovely to watch.
Saturday was that bad that as soon as that price goes up ,im out For 1.99 a month its my back up if I'm not home so i like that aspect of it
There's nothing on the horizon for DAZN as far as I can see. Even though it's very cheap, I might ditch it soon.
DAZN is fantastic value if you live in the parts of the world that get the Sky cards all in for £2 a month. I see the price going up in the summer.
