Round 12 was not close. Teo outlanded Loma 50 to 19. If my math is right, that's almost double, I think. LOL
I understand Teo not wanting to make a fight with Loma because of faul play from Loma with contracts and stuff, but the rematch would be a good business move if he believes he can win it again.
He already beat him a few months ago. Legitimately won the fight. He doesn't want to fight a guy he just beat a few months ago, whatever. That's not a duck.
The idea that every loser is entitled to a rematch, and every winner must give the rematch or being labelled a "ducker" ....... that's some weird thinking.
I do not think that Loma had faul play. Were there clauses aka in clenbuterelo horsemeat taste? I do not have such info. If you do have info that Loma is the same as these guys, post this here. Looks that Loma did not had rematch clause. Maybe because assumed he will won this one. 135 Lopze does not have more well known opponents than Loma, if he believes that he is capable to beat Loma again, for him lucrative might look to sell Lopez vs Loma II. Unless he wish to move up in division. Until Loma will not move to 130, looks that he is capable to make 130 limits with a glance and might choose this option.
Honestly don't get how anyone can claim Lopez is ducking Lomachenko considering he just, you know, beat Lomachenko.
I'm more concerned that Lopez reportedly priced himself out of Haney with a ridicolous demand (10 mil). Loma didn't want a rematch clause and lost fair and square, so it's kind of silly to expect an immediate rematch. He has to put himself in a position where a rematch makes sense. But from the quotes in that article, Lopez seem to just want easy pay-days and that would be a great shame. Haney, Tank and Garcia are guys I want to see him against, and then Loma if he gets some good wins. Well, if Loma beats Haney and takes his belt then a rematch would make sense. If he beats both Haney and Garcia, then he would make Teo look downright silly if he refuses a rematch in favour of easier fights.
7/5 not so square as EE boxers haters does think. Barely won this fight but I think he had won this one. He is not Salido, props to him and kudos. Maybe yes, maybe not. Lopez had risked damn a lot when agrred to fight vs Loma.
Loma is the one that didn't have a rematch cause, If Loma would've won, he would have never given Lopez a rematch, Karma is a .....
Good for Teo. Let the whiny, little Ukrainian twist in the wind. I don’t remember Loma giving GRJ the rematch he’s been wanting for the last 6 years. What comes around, goes around. Teo beat your ass dude, deal with it.
Was in real true 50/50 until Lopez showed his good gas tank. Last minute Lopez showed this one and he likes me. Still with real stuff: take this more realistically than casual fan might wiev this one. He barely defeated Loma. He fooled Loma because Lopez kept box disciplined and didn't comed for mandatory win via TKO/KO. Lopez is smart lad.
