Babic would maybe start by coming forward but he would get hit with a good long jab and a very heavy right hand of a 19st David Price. He would soon find out he could not fight like he is still a bouncer on a nightclub door in Croatia. Price would flatten him inside 3-4 imo. Then it would be the too small narrative and Babic would move to Cruiserweight.
I slightly favour Price in this but wouldn't be surprised if Babic overwhelmed him with his flurry of windmills. Price is a way way better boxer but he has no confidence and a glass chin so Babic has a decent chance in first few rounds. Certainly a fun fight.
I actually think this a decent fight and not sure how it goes , Price has struggled with this style but I also think the size and the gap in skills might be enough for Pricey to get the job done !
I am picking Babic based on Price being awful plus Babic applying the kind of pressure that Price hates. Does anyone recall how much trouble area title level Kash Ali caused Price through his pressure? You dont need skill to cause Price problems at this stage of his career. Teper is a very average fighter and he laid Price out through intelligent pressure and a right to the side of the head. I dont rate Babic at all...but i think he has just enough skill and the right game plan to win
Great match up for the fans. Pricey adds value to any card, so does Babic. It’s a natural match and a really interesting fight. I fancy Price to ko Babic early.
Price wins. Too big, too strong for Babic. Will be a great test to see just how good Babic is and whether he can win against someone who punches back.
If I was babic I'd be begging eddie for it. He can make a quick bit of cash, which would be lost when he inevitably loses to a lesser name for a small purse.
Are we really comparing Babic to Chisora, one is a half decent, arguably world level heavyweight. The other is a doorman who could probably make light heavyweight if he tried.
Babic quite simply isn't a Heavyweight, if Price lands cleanly early on that will become even more apparent. I wouldn't mind seeing this fight though as an undercard filler, nobody does freak shows like Matchroom.
Speaking of doormen. How do you think Kash Ali did vs Price. I thought it was a really competitive fight that Pricey was at times in serious trouble in. Until Kash went mental and got himself DQ’d The David Price who went 16-0 blasting out everyone early domestically doesn’t exist anymore. He is 10-6 over the last 16 fights let’s not forget. (That excludes the Teper fight which is now a NC)
Funnily enough, I was actually watching that fight yesterday. Kash Ali actually rocked Price in the round he got DQ'd in. But, I guess that was the round he also got badly hurt in. Kash just seems too slow and not a big enough puncher to hurt anyone above domestic level in the heavyweight division. I might be wrong though. With Dubois/Joyce around and then boxers like Wardley coming through, I doubt Kash could even win the British Title. Maybe he missed his chance around a year or so ago.
