GRJ vs Lomo II I had watched with pleasure if this had happened. GRJ is good boxer. Didn't he get rematch vs Lomo? Not good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where this had been posted?. I do not read Loma post fights talks, I just watched his fight vs GRJ. I do not read much from pre and post fight talks, I like just to watch fights, read and investigate resumes etc. You look like nationalistic and tribal biased fan - hater. Doesn't looks nice or respectable.
No I didn't mean faul play like doping, I mean that Loma didn't want rematch clause because he was too sure that he will win and move on the next fight. From what Lopez said, it seems like Lopez wanted the clause, but Loma's confidence got in the way. Lopez probably felt Loma's disrispect and know he is giving it back, as a revange. In my opinion, its a little bit childish and bad business move by Lopez, but Loma should also be mature and shut up after the first refuse of rematch from Lopez. Man up, you ****ed it up, now eat **** and move on. I'm sure if Loma start winning big fights again and Lopez also continues with winning, someday (in a few years) they could get it on again. Of course, the youth will be on Lopez side, but that's how business works.
There's too much of a "rematch and run it back" culture in boxing. Would Loma beat him in a rematch? I have no doubt he would, he figured him out. Was it Loma's own fault he took too long to rev up? It absolutely was. He has no one to blame but himself for this. Lopez has an abundance of opponents and options, he should be defending against the top contenders, not just leap frogging over them to rematch someone who has sour grapes because they lost (due to their own foolish gameplan). Loma should work himself back into contention for a title shot. Honestly everyone who loses should have to do this..............It is what it is. And before I'm called a Loma hater, I'm one of his biggest fans and thought he was p4p #1.
The only way I think this is a duck, is if he doesn't fight another top lightweight. If he moves on and fights Haney, I have no issue with this. If he goes to have fights with Tank-esque opposition, then I have a big issue with this because it immediately kills any hype in the division if the top dog who holds all the belts doesn't want to defend against anybody good. That said, Teo has a big ego and will want to face other top fighters IMO. I think he'll try and get Garcia, Haney, Tank, etc; before a move up to 140. And we'll have to wait and see if he gets them, I suppose that's part of fun nowadays.... One thing I don't like, which someone else already mentioned, is that Lomachenko took a paycut to give Teofimo his opportunity. It's quite a ****y move to not even partly return the favour by giving him a rematch. It doesn't even make business sense. If you beat him so clearly he doesn't deserve one, why are you bothered about giving him one if it'll make you more money than anyone else will? And if he truly thinks that he beat him so thoroughly that he shouldn't give Loma a rematch (and I firmly believe he does), then he can enjoy all the bonus money of being the A Side. Lomachenko will take the fight anyway, he knows he needs it and he's arrogant as well.
Don't buy that for a second. Who the hell is he gonna fight? Haney doesn't want it , he's already aiming for Fortuna. Garcia and tank are never taking that fight. If anything they might fight each other. George Kombusos ?? Ha, count me out.
Those numbers are not close to accurate. It was a back and forth round. Compubox is two guy mashing buttons to count punches thrown and landed.
Bull****, Lopez lost 7-11 with 8-11 being all Loma. When was Lopez close to stopping Loma? Loma landed the last hard shot of the 12th round and pushed Lopez back toward the ropes.
IIRC, Floyd rematched both of his close fights. Maidana and Castillo. Loma didn't even want a rematch clause thinking it was a gimme. Now Loma wants one? FWIW, I do think Loma has a very good chance of redeeming himself should a rematch happen but if the fight doesn't happen don't blame Teo. Loma hasn't exactly been a gracious loser. Teo knows Loma NEEDS the rematch more than Teo does. What better way to say F you!

Despite I had scored this fight 7/5 for Lopez I will tell stuff that will not look for you comfortable. You are maybe too young or not enough mature simple EE boxers hater in froums like majority of posters in english language forums. Instead to become more realistic, friendly and more mature lad.
I might gave 50/50 for them in rematch. Incorrect gameplan, when Loma get in his brains real Lopez plan it was too late to win this fight. p4p doesn't worry me. competitive fights yes are interesting. people also likes belts a lot, this too is normal process.
