Looks like Andrade and BJS are on the collision course early this year. The winner will emerge as the prime candidate to fight Canelo in May, but will also enter the Top 10 P4P?

    What's your take?

After Billy Joe KO's Andrade, he'll move right into first place. Right outside of the Top 10.

I don't really see 10 fighters in front of BJS if he was to have a W over Andrade., especially if it's a KO. Definitely in front of Estrada and a few other names.

Also, if Andrade wins, he will become a 3-weight world champion and would finally have a victory over an elite opponent. He would go not only above Estrada, but above Erroll Spence as well.

Whoever wins will qualify for a huge fight vs Canelo on Cinco de Mayo.

Lol. Neither has beaten anyone decent in years. Not even close to p4p. Would like to see them fight though.

I know some people have Casimero on their list, but he's not a fixture like Canelo/Crawford by any means despite being a three division champ and a current beltholder.

I'm reluctant to say that the winner of that fight would be among the ten doing the most in boxing right now, or has demonstrated top ten talent. I'd want to see another win at least.

So to put things in perspective you said the winner would be P4P top 10 and you mentioned over Estrada.. BJS is #5 at 168 Andrade is #3/4 at 160. So a win will be the first victory against a top 5 opponent for Andrade and the second for BJS(Andy Lee) And it would Andrade’s first career victory over an ex or current titleholder (let that sink in).

Meanwhile Estrada just beat the man who is ranked #1 in his division and now is scheduled to fight the #2 while having numerous top 5 wins in the division below..

    This makes no sense.

Saunders is not getting the Canelo fight if he loses, that's fairly obvious.

Why risk that fight to face Andrade?

A fight he can't take lightly and which could well see him beaten if he isn't razor sharp.

    Sorry, I think it's a stupid move.

Maybe, BJS doesn't care because losing means he can avoid Canelo without being accused of ducking...and if he wins he has a big scalp and can cash out again The Clenbuterol Kid.

BJS is an interesting and frustrating fighter. If he’s on top of his game, he easily wins this fight. He’s not the most consistent fighter and doesn’t seem to take his training seriously at least not consistently. He’s like Fury has been throughout his career until recently.

BJS better not look too good if he wants a fight with Canelo. Canelo will duck him and move on to an easier opponent. That’s the biggest risk of this fight. Look good enough to win but not too good to scare Ginger Huevos.
