What were your thoughts on his performance vs Derevyanchenko? Did he exceed your expectations? Did he underperform? What were some things you saw that you liked and some flaws you didn't like, and that he can work on?
Pretty good Most probably the best he has boxed He impressed me for the first time that night by really controlling the fight and tempo
It is a solid performance. Much like I expected. He has an excellent jab and quite an uppercut. Defensively, he does have holes but his chin is rock solid. Charlo was rocking the skinny jeans with how close the fight was.
I thought he looked great it really improved my overall opinion of him. I was not impressed after his fight vs korobov actual scored against him there. I didn't think he was good enough to beat derrv he did great won a competitive but impressive decision and answers a lot of questions I went from doubter to having him as having a shot vs ggg and maybe favorite vs Jacob's and Andrade
It’s a really good fight. Charlo really impressed me. I thought he was gonna get schooled but he ended up putting on a great performance against a good opponent. Hope he fights Andrade
Andrade wont happen anytime soon. I think We have a better chance of seeing Canelo fight Andrade before Charlo or GGG for that matter.
Unlike apparently most others I thought he was quite good beforehand and had high expections. Derevyanchenko is no slouch but I thought Charlo cut it a little too close. A win is a win but it looked like he held a lot in reserve, like it was a 15 round fight. So I came in thinking he was quite good and came out thinking the same, didn't really change much for me.
Very impressed. Exactly the kind of fight he didn't need to take, but did anyway and looked good doing it.
