No one from this era would OWN a prime Bowe or even a 45 year old Foreman. **** I thought a near 50 Foreman should've gotten the nod against Shannon Briggs, and that walking asthma attack recently won a title.
completely agree. late 80s Tyson would have steamrolled Wlad im afraid. Prime Tyson and young Foreman have the worst styles for Wlad. U need to have a decent chin and aggressive nature to face that kind of monster. I think Primes Vitali-Tyson would have been an awesome fight. maybe the most exiciting modern era hw dream fight that could be made. post-prison tyson 1995-1997 - Wlad should win with tyson having a pretty good puncher's chance 1999 and later tyson - Wlad demolishes him
I would favor these guys over or 50/50 against Wlad in the 90's, Lewis any, Tyson any, Ike any, Bowe 92-93, Holyfield any, Foreman 1991-94, Ruddick 91-92 50/50, Morrison 1990-92 50/50, Mercer 93-96, Bruno 94' version 50/50, Golota 95-96 50/50, Briggs 97-99 50/50, McCall 94-95 50/50, Tua 97-99.
Foreman -- way too slow afoot at this time. In his prime, yes i agree he would stop wlad. old george was just not mobile enough. did you see the alex stewart fight. he had a supposed glass jaw and turned big george's face into hamburger. Moorer was totally outclassing him, then made the mistake of standing right in front of him. Wlad would not be so stupid. Wlad wins shutout decision. i dont think the other lower tier guys have more than a puncher's chance. out of the ones u mentioned, mercer and golota would have been the most intriguing. none of those guys can win on pts
I agree with the fact that Wlad would out point all the lower tier guys, but all the fighters I mentioned either are highly aggressive or very powerful, which we know is something Wlad cant handle for the most part. As far as Foreman is concerned, Foreman wasnt the most mobile, but even against Holyfield he found away to conect and stop a very mobile Holyfield in his tracks. I think Wlad's jab is the only weapon he should use to keep big George away, one right hand on Wlad's very weak chin could be Corrie Sanders all over again.
I think it's definitely the strongest it's been since Lewis retired. Stronger than the 90s? No, no way.
One of the worst Heavyweight eras in Boxing History. The champion is a paper champion essentially, and the majority of beltholders from the 60s up until the 90s would have knocked him out in under 8 rounds.
What utter garbage. We are currently in the worst joke of a HW division for a century, how in any way is it better than the 90's? And, Wlad would get destroyed by Tyson, Bowe, Lewis, Holyfield, Ibeubuchi. No contest at all, he would probably get sparked by a lot more 90's HW's as well.
Not being funny but if morrison landed he could ko wlad not saying it would happen but he has his chances. Right you want 5 90's hw that i would favour over wlad. Lewis whoops that arse Tyson ko's him holyfield Bowe the president Bruno would have his chances great jab and real ko power especialy the way wlad fought his last fight. sanders :yep obvious pick ross the boss bit of a joke as i think wlad beats him 99 out of 100 just happened to that 1 time :yep Seriously wlad is the best at the moment until he gets chinned again Opps how could i forget a prime ray mercer not that sheel that fought wlad the real mercer
atsch ROman Greenberg feeds off journey men he has been fighting in britain for years and really sucks. He is certainly no power house its ok getting yurself a 27-0 record but when your best win is damon reed it says it all :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
Actually, it's kinda funny, but a few years back when Byrd and Ruiz were champs...that was actually probably a better era...
