East Europeans are often robbed in other countries: Korobov-Aleem Korobov-Charlo Kalajdzic-Brown Salamov-Hooper Postol-Ramirez Kotelnik-Alexander
Briggs-Foreman was a real head scratcher to me at the time. I loved how beautifully Foreman handled it during his post-fight interview. He knew he had been jobbed but refused to complain about it. I thought Whitaker clearly decisioned Chavez. I didn't think it was close. First Holyfield-Lewis fight bothered me. I thought Bradley-Pacquiao was off. Some of the famous controversial decisions I've been ok with. I've watched Norton-Ali 3, Holmes-Spinks 2, Hagler-Leonard quite a few times. Last time I watched them, I had Ali, Holmes and Leonard up by 1 point. Really too close to call in my opinion.
Question, and I mean no disrespect because it actually made me laugh out loud for the first time in a while... Who the f*** is prudnenikov? Haha
this is not a robbery, this is a felony. I mean, literally the referee should have ended in jail. That fight is a shame to this sport. And not because of the winner/loser, but because of how those *******s play with the life of the fighters.
I agree with these except I think the first Holmes spinks fight was close enough to go either way but Larry won that second fight convincingly on my card
In the first fight Spinks was very adept at putting together a series of outbursts in the last rounds to convince the judges...and he had success.
Quickly i add some not mentioned yet Donald - Valuev Abril - Rios Chisora - Helenius Fury - Wilder was a robbery IMO
this was a sweet case of justice IMO. sturm was a 4-5 time 'world champion' who was the poster child for a paper champion. had a lucrative TV deal in germany so long as he had 'a belt' and he made a lot of money while staying well away from the big players in the division. so oscar offers him a dream fight in the US (so that oscar has a belt to bring to the hopkins fight) and sturm cashes in. small fish who fights for $$$ got fed to a cash cow to increase the appeal of a 'super fight' with hopkins, who had been the king at MW (sturm's division) for years.
