He wasn't training for a particular fighter tho that's what you usually do during camp

Do you actually read and take in what is said to you, what you are being informed about?

    I will repeat..

JOE GALLAGHER, EDDIE HEARN AND SMITH HIMSELF SAID THEY WERE IN TRAINING MONTHS BEFORE THE FIGHT SO THEY WERE NOT "CAUGHT OUT" WITH A LATE DATE.

So Smith didn't just have 3 weeks to prepare, it didn't happen like that, Smith was well aware and ready.

Look at these clowns defending an utterly corrupt cheater who twice in a row now has put his opponent on short notice and tried to apply hydration limits to drain them (it just came too late in the Smith case). He also tried to cheat Plant with a short camp before that.

Stop pretending Smith was training properly for Canelo. He only found out he truly had the fight on Twitter just before the announcement, which is a disgrace. So while he knew he was a contender he didn't actually know he had the fight. That means you can't have 100% commitment to a camp, to ordering sparring partners, travel timing etc. It makes a difference, it gives Canelo AN EDGE. Get it? That's why they play off multiple contenders and reveal it late, not just for bargaining, it's so someone takes the bait and gets screwed.

As for the idea it's 'their fault for accepting', how stupid/corrupt are you? If you don't accept, you risk never getting the fight, get it? Because the sport is so corrupt. It's not just money it's about titles and p4p/status. You have to beat Canelo now to be considered the best at 160-168 by the industry, to unify and so on, so if you don't accept his terms, you may never get the chance to get to the top. It's not as simple as 'just don't accept the terms'. You risk years going by and never getting a shot to claim the throne or being ignored completely.

BS. We all knew that fight was coming more than 3 weeks beforehand. If Smith decided not to be in the gym until Michael Benson tweeted it then he’s the biggest moron in the world. Just another excuse pusher

I'm not opposed to a full camp I'm opposed to someone taking on a clearly defined challenge and reserving an excuse for after they lose. You clearly subscribe to this mentality I'm sure it's served you well so I'm not going to argue
