The full flow comebacking Foreman who had just decimated Gerry Cooney versus the confident Ruddock who had just almost killed Michael Dokes?

If it had been announced at that time....it would have had a wow factor to it....ruddock was considered the worlds most dangerous Heavyweight behind Tyson....30 years later im still in awe of Mike Tyson taking on Ruddock twice....within 3 months no less when he really didnt need to....Ruddock in 1990 had all the physical tools to carve out a impressive win...but his atg poor boxing IQ leaves him laying after 4 rounds

Ruddock couldn't have taken the shots of Foreman flush. Foreman was even at 40 a more devastating puncher than Lewis and Tyson. And Ruddocks defense wasn't exactly pristine. Foreman in 3, and I'm being generous.

Razor would be wide open, he's one of the worst boxers you'll see

Round 1 Foreman is rocked badly at the end of the first round, but buys time to make it thru.

Round 2 Ruddock comes out fast throwing wild smashes at George.
Wide open, Razor gets blasted with a piledriver of a right from his opponent that has his legs wobbling before crashing down.
He gets up to fast and is dropped again. His legs have gone and the ref gets in fast.
    Foreman by 2.

Razor would beat Foreman up. It would be like the Stewart fight, but worse for Foreman.

Plus Foreman had that weird cross arm shoulder shrug he used to neutralise any shorter mans left hooks....it would probably also neutralise ruddocks awkward and fast smashes....wouldve liked to see it...

Cooney, Holyfield and Qawi nailed him. Ruddock was scarier threat with his left hook and had plenty of reach.

I agree that Prime Foreman crushes Ruddock. But, the Ruddock that fought Tyson is at least 50/50 vs Old Foreman. Ruddock was better and faster than almost anybody George beat in his comeback.

Ruddock does a far superior job than Alex Stewart did. Old Foreman would never take that fight unless he absolutely had to.

Ruddock would win a couple early rounds, but wouldn't be able 2 take Foreman's power, and Ruddock wouldn't be able 2 outbox George, so he's doomed. George kicks his ass.

You might be right. If only Big George had believed that himself back in the 90s.....the fight could have actually been made.

All depends on Ruddock's ability to stick to a gameplan. If he can stay disciplined, move, stay out if range and pick his punches then he wins but if he gets drawn into a brawl which I expect he would then he loses.
