Roy was the fastest fighter ever overall. Hand speed, foot speed and defensive reflexes being the 3 types. For hand speed, I give serious consideration to those who could sit down on their punches in combination. I think he and Leonard are basically a wash in that regard, with prime Hector Camacho on the same level.
I think after a certain point it means practically nothing, timing will always prevail paired with IQ to answer the question I’ll say they’re tied almost, we can only move so quickly some are just blessed with the ability at higher weights see Ali in comparison to Jones it isn’t so great a difference.

Jones for me. SRL was extremely fast but RJJ was just freakishly quick. The Hawk also had some incredibly fast hands with massive single punch power. Most didn’t even know they were about to be hit until they woke up minutes later.
SRL had some nice handspeed but I was always more impressed with RJJ's speed, especially given that he's bigger than SRL.
