3 poor signings, though I expect to see Hatton improve. Barrett already found his level when Ronnie Clark beat him, Fiaz is awful featherfist who I had losing on his matchroom debut. Eddie really should go to the amateurs and sign Will Cawley, Callum Thompson and Cain Morris if he wants good talent from the Greater Manchester area. Marc Leach would've been a better signing too.
Missed for some reason Akeem Enis Brown vs Sam Maxwell and Chris Jenkins vs Essow Ekuman are both for Frank Warren as well. Both very good fights.
Felix Cash beats Bentley IMO. Just think he has better skills and physical attributes. Both seem to like a tear up so should be a good fight
Whilst the Foster fight is a good one, you have to feel for Marc Leach who has won two eliminators and still not been given a shot. He wasn't happy on social media the other day, as he's been asked to box Thomas Essomba in another eliminator.
That fight won't happen 100%. Warren cud of made it along time ago now different promoters and barrett poor in his last fight is fighting a a real super bantum in kiko next. No way matchroom will put him in with a real super feather anytime soon.
Mick seems to have signed/be looking at signing many young Irish fighters to fill out his stable judging by a two page spread in The Sun this weekend.
Noticed the same thing. There is definitely a gap in the market to be home of Irish boxing. lot of promoters have steamed clear of Ireland in recent years. Matchroom haven’t even bothered to take Katie Taylor there. my guess is he focuses on signing some decent fighters and produces a Stable there. The likes of Joni Carroll and Eric Donovan are calling to be signed.
I've seen Dan Azeez fight on a few small hall shows in Brentwood. I'm just not sure what to make of him.
Agreed but Hennesey would have no chance in signing any of them.... I was more talking about fighters that have a better profile than half his stable and likely available for him to pick up.
